  1. A friend of mine has these sitting in his yard, and I thought they were kinda unique. The purple one is an f700l with v8 emblems but now has a 300 in it. The blue and white one has a 871 in it with an aluminum frame that looks great. The ball and socket dual exhaust is pretty cool also, I gotta believe the Lund sun visor has to be a rare item.
  2. I would like the 4:17's if you could drop them in the mail, but seriously I am wondering how to get them to ND without costing too much.
  3. 1900 rpm's @ 65mph. It's been a farm truck and only got about 6000 miles a year. It has 8 lug fronts and spokes on the rear (22.5). I don't think it was converted.
  4. We have had it since '96,did the powerdivider,a clutch, rebuilt the steering box, and the injection pump, and just did the kingpins. Not sure of the actual miles, I replaced the speedometer a while back and can're remember for sure what the old one read.It would most definitely drive anywhere.
  5. Eastern ND the valueliner has a straight frame the entire length, the r models Y- out at the front. There is a few other differences too.
  6. 1984 Mack value liner for sale. It has a 300 2 valve,t2090 442 ratio Mack rears on taperleaf. Has a wet kit for an end dump. Hardly any rust anywhere. Pulls great, starts, runs great. The paint is not very good, the hood has had a some repair. Was originally a f.t.silfies truck out of P.A. Just doesn't get used much anymore. Asking $5,000 701- 730- 4577
  7. What suspension does your trailer have? I have a tri-axle belly dump with reyco spring suspension and it rides very nice.
  8. What weight camelback springs does your rd have? The 34,000lb. springs don't ride too bad, and you can't beat camelback for off-road conditions.
  9. Check your shackles too, they might be hammered out.
  10. Wondering if anyone has a rear main seal installer for an e-7 that they would want to sell. 701- 730-4577 thanks.
  11. Does the jake brake work on either or both heads?
  12. I had to click on this one to see why you bought a granite L.O.L
  13. Here is some pics of our 1952 d-8 cat with a Mack 237 retrofitted for power. We extended the hood so we could fit a maxitourqe five speed behind the engine for lower gears for hard pulling. It turned out to be a real performance upgrade despite the smaller cubic inches.
  14. I would be more impressed if they could fix a complex emission problem that a dealer couldn't.
  15. selling a 1990 e-7 350 as a core complete with turbo, injection pump, dynatard. Was running 2 years ago, it had a lot of blow-by, would be a good builder. $1000 picked up in ND
  16. Finally got it all back together, it was discharged from the shop today.
  17. I needed a little extra "rolling storage" last week for barley harvest so I slapped the battery cables on the B and fired it up. Such a pleasure to drive I didn't want to put it back in the shed. My uncle built this truck in '85, it sits on a '74 f model frame and sports a 237 and a five speed. It doesn't get used as much as it used to, only a few loads a year.
  18. The pressure checks out, I adjusted the ride hieght up to where I thought it should be, and it hasn't done it since. Thank you.
  19. I always shift down from 1st high to 4th low like you say, it seems to help if I pre-select low range longer in advance. As for speed, you can almost be lugging in high range and it will still do it. We have another truck with a Mack 13 spd. that NEVER does this. What does air ride height have to do with this?
  20. I've got a '96 ch with a t-2130 that clashes into low range. It's a weller reman, and it's the second one, the first one was doing the same thing. My local dealer installed it and it's been back several times to remedy the problem to no avail. The splitter valve was changed once for sure, the other times they have just said, "they checked everything over, and it should be good now." So eventually they said enough with it and installed the second one, now this one is doing the same. Now it's been long enough since then I'm on my own. Any ideas?
