  1. I know its kinda like asking to take your girlfriend to the dance but would you mind telling what that engine cost ruffly?
  2. Yes Freightliner did have a Powerliner. It had a very large grill to cool the Cummins KTA or V12 Detroit or the 3408 Cat
  3. Help! Anybody know where I could find a good grill for an "Eastcoast" Cruiseliner? Part # 25045679. Thank you
  4. Now that's just plain funny. But don't fret. I hear the Burger King is a certified road call mechanic
  5. That's great to see a "irregular" truck being saved. On Ebay someone has a "new" cab for one of these. Thanks for saving a piece of history
  6. Also make sure your hood "seats". where the hood rest. That should have the roller. Check how your radiator supports. Do they come off the fire wall on cab or from the frame? Otherwise your radiator will be rocking back and forth
  7. Very nice!! Glad to see an ole truck saved. Especially one without a hood. Seems like COE's don't get much respect.
  8. Whats the green B? Horse body? Not with the side doors. Intresting
  9. Anything & Everything. Lol. Would like to find a exterior sunvisor, Heater controls, cables for same. Am intrested in almost anything
  10. You folks are talking about air clutch fans? Would you happen to know part # or models of clutch fans?
  11. Jealousy will bet you nowhere. lol. There aren't to many E9 powered Cruiseliners with 196,000 original miles.
  12. Ok, First, Thank you to those of you who gave me advice. I hate to admit how foolish I was. Heres what the problem was. After replacing the foot valve and tractor protection valve the brakes would still sometime not release. The culprit was a plugged exhaust line from the trolley valve. Problem solved. Hope this can help someone else who maybe experiencing issues.
  13. Ok so what is my 83 EM9? Old or new generation?
  14. Oops. Sorry. Thanks for correcting me. Were the MH's labeled differently than the Cruiseliners?
  15. Hmm. bought another air cleaner housing to install on my Cruiseliner. Just trying to make it look "factory". I don't think that was an option. An ole timer once told me YOUR DIESEL NEEDS 2 THINGS TO RUN FUEL AND AIR, AND BOY AIR IS FREE GIVE IT ALL IT WANTS.
  16. I think that 603 was a glider. 612 single axle Mack power 643 tandem Cat power 633 tandem Cummins power 653 tandem Detroit power. Im not positive
  17. This is probably a dumb question but does that E9 get enough air with that single air cleaner?
  18. I hope the problem is cured. Find out Tuesday as were headed for Colebrook. The treadle valve is new too. Thanks
  19. This seems like a dumb question, AT least to me it does. While trying to figure out my brake issue I discovered that the exhaust line form the trolley valve was plugged. Now the trolley brake works fine. Havent been down the road yet but in the yard so far the brakes have not hung up. Is it possible that the plugged exhaust line was my trouble all along? Do the foot brakes exhaust thru the trolley exhaust line?
  20. Yes that's true. Kinda like the kids with their hotrod Honda's and other Fast & Furious cars. Why? But at least their doing something creative
  21. I agree with you folks. Seems like a real shame. At least I wont have to cry over a Cabover being turned into a Ratrod. Guess there not worth doing that to.
  22. Wow! What an education!! Thanks for that info.
