  1. Just put a counterweight on the front bumper, like this-
  2. 68.316 mph- but that's just a guess.
  3. I'm thinking sidecar...like Col. Klink and Sgt. Schultz.
  4. There was a new Triumph parked in front of a store in Rustburg every day last summer,I don't know what model it is, but it's one of the prettiest bikes i've ever seen.
  5. Amen brother! Bill Balsamico for president!

my unit still gets so hard the cat couldn't scratch it now...but I realize that if I get to yours and Mike's age it might not get hard if I put it in the deep freeze. ...that's funny right there!

I know, it's...uh....shoot, never mind-it'll probably come to me later.
  8. When I was lost and looking for my delivery address while going the wrong way on rt. 127 in Frankfort Kentucky Tuesday, I happened to run across this Robmobile. No details, but it's on rt. 127 a little north of Frankfort, Ky.

It's quite possible i've seen that truck at some point in time. In the early '80s we'd run 33 and 30 to Chicago all the time. Stopped at the Fort Meyers truckstop in Fort Wayne once in a while, but we used to get fuel at the 76 Truckstop in Wapakoneta every trip. Then they invented the AA Highway and we didn't run that way as much, now I haven't been to Chicago for several years. There was a dump truck fleet of all R-models at Wanatah too, but I can't remember the name.
  13. that's what I always thought.
  14. Penetrating oil probably won't do much good in this case, but far as penetrating oil goes PB Blaster works better than anything i've ever used.
  15. I didn't have any Magnum pictures from truck shows, might try Hank's truck pictures.
  16. Carl is kinda dumb-when the safety department found the gallon of gas in his truck that he was carrying in case it caught fire and told him to get it out of there he should not have dumped it in the fire place!
  17. oh...Swift driver...'nuff said! The gallon of gas still might not be a bad idea though, just in case it did catch fire.
  18. they're talking about the corporate forum.
  19. ain't it? some of the finest boobage i've ever seen!
  20. I think they just use a big adjustable wrench at the shop to tighten them.
  21. ...and putting down dumbass truck drivers
  22. well, the truck was supposed to be ready by 5 o'clock but the Cat place just called and said plan "A" failed and they had to wait for the epoxy to dry, so it'll be in the morning. Epoxy?..musta put Caterpillar J.B.Weld on it. Got a load of lumber sitting at the yard going to Frankfort,Ky. that I was supposed to run tonight.
  23. maybe the driver has not driven an scr truck before and didn't know what it's supposed to do and not supposed to do. I wouldn't know either, so i'm a dumbass too. Guess i'd carry a gallon of gas with me and have all my belongings where I could grab them quickly.
  24. Navistar is also developing their new EGR engine with the C-15 Caterpillar engine as the base, since Cat is out of the heavy truck engine market. They recently purchased some kind of valve technology from Holley (yep, the carb. people) to use on this engine. You're probably right about them burying everyone else when they get this engine on the market.
  25. Yeah, I don't know about all that stuff. I'm just a truck driver, and that's what we used to- I meant, that's what I heard of other drivers doing. Guess that's why it was a good way to get fired. I always went by "don't mess with it if you don't know what you're doing" so I never touched nuthin'.
