That's one reason i'd be terrified to have to go to N.Y. now. And we have some drivers that love it. I remember seeing stripped out cars along the cross bronx in the 80's, and i'd always think to myself "just what do you do if you happen to break down?..you've got to go somewhere for help (pre-cell phone days!). And as soon as you leave your vehicle it's a goner- just what the hell do you do?".

actually, that picture came from a page called "drunk sluts"...that I stumbled upon accidently of course.

well, I found out why I can't sign in to webshots. That's where I had most of my pictures, including several different ATHS shows I went to. They're gone...all gone. Webshots is now Webshot Smile, run by a different outfit. Their frequently asked questions column said "we sent e-mails to webshot members last October informing them of this coming change...blah-blah-blah...you can no longer access old pictures unless you moved them...blah-blah-blah". They always sent e-mails saying how many people viewed your pictures, and i'd just delete them, so when they sent the other e-mails I probably saw "webshots" on them and just hit the delete button. Anyway, they're gone now...all gone.

A man was driving his Terex Titan across the cross bronx expressway the other day and pulled over on the shoulder to walk to a nearby diner to get a cup of coffee. When he returned to his truck about 5 minutes later he found it sitting on blocks with the tires, wheels, and stereo system stolen.

I remember hearing of a Euclid that fell into the slate quarry when I was a kid. Still in there far as I know, they said it would cost more than it was worth to get it out back then.

I saw Hank Jr. in Beckley in the 80's. I was on the side of rt. 19 just past the toll booth with a tire service guy who was fixing a trailer tire for me. Hank Jr's bus came through the toll booth and pulled over on the shoulder for a minute, then took off. Hank Jr. was standing just inside the door and he waved at us as the bus was pulling away.

I pull a flatbed, drive a red T660 for F.L.Moore and Sons out of Concord,Va. Usually i'll have lumber or beams going up, and bring coils back to Lynchburg out of Sharon or Pittsburgh.

I know the area, I run 64 to the turnpike a lot, 60 a lot, and 64 to 60 to 20 to 39 to 19 to 79 quite a bit.

What part of West Virginia are you from?
-
Yes, once again I took a few pictures of things I saw this week. Like this pickup for sale in Appomattox, Va. Would look nice in sunny south Florida with your Mustang...just sayin'. Euclid at Kyanite Mining Corporation. Saw an offset cab Mack on 219 in Pa. But it's probably a DM. A big Mack wrecker. I didn't take a picture of me sweating while tarping at 68 degrees Tuesday, but I did when it was snowing Wednesday morning in Orchard Park,N.Y. I even saw a scraper machine in Pa. And some trucks Freightliner, Barko, Autocar, FWD at Mead/Westvaco in Rupert. I saw many cars stuck in the snow in West Virginia. I didn't have time to stop and help push any of them out. Saw this IH at the yard Thursday. And, on the way home yesterday I saw this girl hanging around the Winfall train station. She looked too scary for me to stop. Went over there today and the skank had just gotten on the train, and this girl had just gotten off.

Here's my flickr pictures-

http://www.flickr.com/photos/28526133@N04/
I also have pictures on webshots and photobucket, but I can't seem to sign in to either one right now for some reason. Just search "other dog". And, I went back the last few days I was home and went to my control panel, clicked on "manage my attachments" and deleted numerous pictures. Hundreds of pictures. Anything over a few months old probably won't be seen any more anyway, right? I did not delete any stupid pictures, or Winfall pictures, or "Spot the Wonder Dog" pictures, so don't worry- just "pictures of the week" pictures that were old. And another thing, does resizing pictures help Barry? I usually resize all my pictures, making them as small as possible. Well, as small as is practical anyway. Brochures and such need to be big enough to read, but other stuff, like girls in Winfall for example, only need to be big enough to see.

I've heard that moose are migrating farther from their usual habitat all the time, and have been spotted as far west as Illinois. I understand they can be quite dangerous, especially when alcohol is involved.

I think you're too late. Jim took a couple days off work and was last seen heading north east with newly purchased camouflage clothing, night vision goggles, black face paint, a metal detector, shovel, a new battery, and a can of gas. He plans to dig it up, put a battery in it, pour some gas in the carburetor, and drive it home. Here's a picture taken from the surveillance camera at the beer joint metal detector store of Jim and his possible accomplice. Be on the look out for these two Tim!

Indeed, what they said!

That's them. Couldn't find any pictures, but I know i've seen a Fulton truck picture on Hank's. Did see this mention on Swift's wikipedia page- Swift bought Stephens City, Virginia based Arthur H. Fulton Inc. for $9 million dollars. Fulton was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at the time.

I used to do some mud bogging in the 90's. Mud raced an IH Scout for several years, and they had 4 races a season. We took the kids with us, and I don't think I ever went there that at least one fight didn't break out. I think a lot of people went there just to get drunk and fight.

I rode over to the Winfall Sports Arena today just to see if anything was going on. There wasn't, so I came back home.

Happy birthday!

I always thought the same. We hauled a lot of structural steel there in the 80's and 90's, some went right downtown. I know one big job was at 6th. and Grant, lots of congestion around there...but some fine looking womens too. Now I load at Lane Steel in McKees Rocks and Galv-Tech in Pittsburgh pretty often. Galv Tech is one of those places that there's just no good way to get there.

I left the fix-it utilities scan running last night, restarted it this morning, ran the registry cleaner-fixer, optimized all programs and features, optimized windows and whatever else I could find to optimize and it seems fine so far, fast as ever too. Hope it's not fixing to blow up, like a truck engine- they always run their best right before they blow you know.
