I got lots more, but i'm out of power, i'll have to post them later. I went to the ATHS show in Winchester yesterday, been resizing pictures, grocery shopping, and putting brake pads on a Saturn today, i'm going to bed now.

I go to Sharon a lot, load at Sharon Coatings ( used to be Winner Steel ) pretty often.

Where'd I leave off last time?..how about this worm? Or a blue tail lizard? Those Abilene trailers I saw at the yard last week look a lot different now- I got to the shop Sunday and saw this monster hanging on the truck- ...enough of that nasty stuff, I saw a girl in a car at the red light at Concord Turnpike- then at the stop light at New London, I saw another girl in a car- and then, at the stop light at Forest, I saw another girl in another car.

That's pretty much how I am, I don't have the energy I used to have anyway, and don't know much about the newfangled- electronical- computerized stuff they have now.

I don't know yet whether i'll leave Friday or just drive up and back Saturday, but i'll do one or the other. And yeah, this heat has been awful. I just seen on the TV machine the other day that we'd set a new all time record for the most consecutive days with a high of over 90 degrees. It was thirty-some, I don't remember exactly. They said the month of July was the hottest ever, and I didn't hear anything about August, but i'd be surprised if it wasn't the hottest August ever too.

That's where I was at, on 610. It was right beside a Loves Truckstop.

Actually, I wasn't as upset as you might think, in fact, I hardly realized an hour had passed.

Hey, is anybody going to Winchester this year, besides me, Barry, Farmer52, Fyxmn, MHFred, 41Chevy,Freightrain,Mowerman, and nocluejoe66? It's Sep. 22,23,and 24th. I would have went to Lincolnton,N.C. today if i'd known it was truck show day. I had an eye Dr. appointment yesterday, and could have left right afterwards...if i'd only known!

Danged bicyclists!...I got behind this one the other day and it took me almost an hour to get around her!

I saw a girl in a car at a red light while I was on the way to Blytheville, Ar. Saw lots of these log trucks in Texas, I didn't know they used these type of set ups anywhere except in the great northwest. I saw these fine looking units in Arkansas. Fitzgerald Gliders in Tennessee- pretty big place,eh? Praying mantis on the trailer-

I didn't do much- no, wait, I did do much this week, just didn't take a lot of pictures of it. I went to Houston, a place in Texas, with a load of beams. My unit sitting at the shop, all clean- I took this just moments before the biker gang rolled up on me. I stopped in Niota, Tn. where I saw this girl go in the truckstop with her hair down, then she came out a few minutes later with her hair in a ponytail...not that there's anything wrong with that. I saw a slurpee too. Every time I go by Miller's in Chattanooga I think of "Highway Thru Hell"- good show, by the way- and the time Jamie Davis went there to pick up his new wrecker. They had put the body on wrong, with too much space between the cab and body, and when he left with it the step almost fell off and was dragging on the road before he was out of sight good. He pulled over and put some duct tape on it and went on with it instead of taking it back. He needed the truck badly and they were already way behind schedule getting it finished for him anyway. Later, I saw a girl in a car at a red light. I saw a big bridge in Louisiana. We're all stopped, it's raining and there was an accident ahead. I saw a dog peeing on a trash can and a bird with a long tail at the Pilot in Houston. Houston skyline-

Yup, just like the new big trucks. They want all work done at the dealer's now except routine servicing. They said "don't put a wrench on anything!" and if you do they want to void the warranty.

It's not funny, this could happen to anybody- be alert at all times out there!
