  2. I'll try to get a pic this week. It's at the farm not my house. Do you want complete front axle or just the hubs?
  3. You've come to the right place for parts and advice. You should have no problem finding parts for a 99 and depending on how it was taken care of it'll go a million or better
  4. Greetings Thermodog. I think I have what your looking for on a 87 DM I would sell but depending on where your located the shipping would probably be too expensive. I'm in Ontario Canada.
  5. Camper would be cool but be hard to travel any distance with original running gear. I used to take the kids for icecream in my 58 Brockway. Either way you'll have fun
  6. Don't mind at all. Everyone knows what it's like to put a group of truck drivers together in a room. Hard to stay on one topic 😉
  7. Looks in good shape. You should post in other truck makes to show her off

Excellent keep us posted with your progress
  14. Thanks for responding. I keep a eye on my oil pressure gauge just in case
  15. I notice most Australian trucks we see on internet are multi colored or two tone paint jobs. Where as we do have them but alot of North American trucks are a single color. Is this common in Australia or just what we see. Also love the cabovers. Those twin steers are monsters.
  16. I'm 45 years old and apparently I wore this as a baby and somewhere I should have a pic of my daughter wearing it. I can't believe my mother hung on to this but I'm glad she did
  17. That brings back memories. You were the coolest kid when you got a new iron on t shirt or got your name on the back
  18. I completely agree. There was a time if you were interested in being a truck driver you got to know someone who would train you or you started by sweeping the floor in a shop and worked your way up. Remember when drivers actually had a clue as to the internal workings of a truck as opposed to picking up your cell phone when there's a issue. I was having this discussion the other day and a driver was telling me how much it cost him to get a license. I told him I apprenticed for 18 years before I got mine
  19. Hopefully the driver realized what they hit
  20. Friend of mine sent me this pic taken in 1985. His truck with his Dad's and brothers. Just thought it was a cool pic that has survived 35 years.
  21. My uncle told me a similar story years ago in New York City. Cop told him to keep moving. I thought that might have been a isolated incident
