  1. Pretty clean lil ride. Joe will love them spokes!!! Bet the 8 bag on that short wheelbase rides like a buckboard? Heard they aren't smooth to being within. That short has gotta hurt.
  2. This has been making the rounds on a few forums I frequent. Bet that steam engine is 2-3x the weight of the newer version. Plus the 100% torque at zero of the steam engine gives it LOTS of advantage.
  3. Pretty cool find! Looks a little weathered, but not beat to death. Good job!
  4. Ohhh, I knew that was coming. Ben, there is plenty of room. I made the stick bend around to allow the g/f access to the bunk without too much fuss. You can shift them all without them getting tangled up with each other also LOL!
  5. Aw shoot...now it's time to put'm in the B model and see how they handle a couple sticks? LOL!! My g/f has started my B, but that is as far as she will go with it. She can't drive stick, I've tried a couple times in my pickup. She just won't get on the gas and GO!! She stops everytime she pushes in the clutch to shift into 2nd. She doesn't have a clue as to what I'm doing with my three sticks......
  6. At my work...that is most the attitude. They will run something into the ground and then stand there and point and say "I didn't do it, it was like that when I got it". My whole life here(last 27 yrs) has been putting shit back together so they can destroy it again. day in, day out.
  7. Ugh....I'd be pissed too. Lucky my truck is 24 yrs old, but still would hate to find this!! I too park away from people. Don't mind walking a few extra steps. Sadly it don't take much to wipe out a bumper anymore. They are really, really flimsy and likely someone just pushed up against it and just kept pushing without knowing it(should have, but maybe didn't).
  8. Kudos for a girl driving a stick. My sister and niece both have cars with sticks in them. Hell, they won't own an automatic! Ya, she has the idea down and I think she could likely drive a truck easily enough. I think it will still be a EYE OPENER when she first tries it and it doesn't just "go in" like her lil Audi.
  9. Welcome aboard. Don't let all the harrassment get to you. These guys can be BRUTAL about pictures of your woman truck..........LOL!!!
  10. Power supplies very typical for failing. Plug and play to fix it(if that is what is wrong).
  11. Great work Pawel. Here is basically what I have on the back of my bunk. The air lines clip to the lower portions and the electric socket slips in the middle hole.
  12. 1 1/2 yrs to get someone out of YOUR house? Good gawd is that screwed up.
  13. ^^I like that one!! LOL!! My disease is a bit different....................mine is garagetosmal. Very nice replica and hope it goes to a good home.
  14. It was put away wet too many times for sure.............LOL!
  15. I think there is likely a BIG back story to this. I don't see how any of this could happen without SOMEONE that actually owns it knowing something.
  16. Mines black and white and has no issues. Maybe it is a color thing?? Umm, we do need some specifics to be of any REAL help here.
  17. Great pics. That red G model is classic. I don't think anyone in 20+ yrs from now will say that about a plastic truck pulling a stock trailer?
  18. Yup, tried to quote your post and nadda. Hmmm, even tried copy/paste and put my own codes in and it wouldn't do it.
  19. Neat, looks like it's a pretty good runner. Bet going off that trailer it was like it was going to nose over LOL!!!
  20. They actually had a news story LAST WEEK about some people already camping out for black Friday. LAST WEEK!!!!! The guy they interviewed was like "it's my vacation time, I just spend it here". WTF>>>> They had tents and generators going. If I owned the store, I would have them sent packing. NO LOITERING in front of the store. I'd give them the night before, but not the WEEK before. Jezusss, what is the world coming to?? All that for an Xbox or some other useless electronic trinket you can buy any other day of the year?? Guess it all makes the world go round?
  21. My guess is the broken one is the brake light switch. Yup, should be easy enough to get replacements.
  22. Wow...wish I had that kinda room to work on my junk!! I have to go outside to change my mind LOL!! Just enough room to squeeze by on each side of my B. That's it. Glad I'm a skinny lil sumbitch.
  23. Most ALL 24v starters had FOUR 6volt batteries. Two on each side, coming to the S/P switch. That switch hooked them all in series for 24v to start, then back to 2 banks of 12v parrallel to charge. Don't know how they did it with only 3 batteries? Unless they didn't use the s/p switch and just had all three in parallel for 12v starter. The s/p switch system works, but you need GOOD cables to make it work properly. That is why most guys switch it over. I put up with it the first summer I had my truck, then converted it. Jim, that does not look like a s/p switch. More like a std solenoid. Not enough large battery connections to hook 4 batteries to that. This is what mine looked like.
  24. He was trying to fill it out while riding in a B model. LOL!!!!!
