  1. These minature trucks, could they be driven or just big models?
  2. Real nice job, I always wanted a power wagon.
  3. Without a question of a doubt, very common to get no less than 600000 on a 237 or 673
  4. Hi 2stack, That rock body looks exactly like a Turner & Brievogel truck that was bought out by Santi Campanella. The cab protector is exactly the same as i remember them and on the one we had. Too bad there aren't any other photos to see if the paint underneath isn't orange.
  5. We had one, a 1959 B-81 with a steel body like these. Came from Santi Campanella's marine division, originally Turner & Brievogel who he bought out. There were 6 of them, very heavy, 40,000 lbs empty. He ended up adding new DM800's with aluminum bodies to haul rip rap. Attached shows one in 1968, second one shows one for sale in CT now, repainted red.
  6. Vinnie, Shawn is correct, one of first DM's to come out, cant be over a 1972 at the latest, that red truck is orange underneath the red.
  7. Thanks RFC, 2stack, Im not sure but they have a lot of well maintained equipment you see on the highways up here all the time. They are based in Warwick, RI, can see their operation from 95 north heading into Providence, but I havent been in their yard for 40 years or more. Santi Campanella's only son was found murdered in TN, and he just seemed to fade away after that.
  8. Hi 2stack, Vinney, Thats a former Santi Campanella truck. he was the Campanella of the Campanella & Cardi Corp. I had truckes leased to him on the interstate construction in RI, CT and MA in the late 60's early 70's. He was in business with Cardi I believe for about 30 years starting in 1938 but was virtually out of business by the end of the 70's. Cardi Corp is still a big outfit in RI. Long story for sure but Santi had over 1100 pieces of equipment by the late 60's....Paul
  9. Hi DM897SX, The pics I sent were all wheel drive, front axles drove too. That yellow water truck doesnt appear to have a front drive axle..........Paul
  10. storkmack, helping to sell out the country maybe its best you should leave too
  11. Luigie, I think it's time you admit that it wasn't one of you're better ideas to come on this site and just go away. I like the majority of the guys on here make sure we always win and its very clear you have lost, now have a nice day.
  12. You have got that right bobo, to be 21 again after the war, what a future then.
  13. Thanks Tommy, reinforcements were needed, and well said F.W.D. and 220cummins
  14. yes David, but very few of us have been under siege fighting this campaign
  15. 2stack, he thinks you mean to export, not for restorations in the USA
  16. I do have to admit Luis, you do have elephant balls to come on here thinking that once these guys figured it out, with some help, you weren't refering to the Centrral USA but Central America, that they were going to gladly sell you trucks or parts. But I do have a suggestion, and also am not saying you're a bad person for trying, but why don't you build you're own heavy trucks down there, the labor is certainly cheap enough and you're buying up all our surplus machine tools to do it.
