  1. We actually talked to him before. We haven't had time to go out and look at his trucks yet. Do you think they are any good? Ben
  2. I was wondering, if a truck has an antique plate, can you drive it without a CDL? If so, we'll put an antique plate one on our B60, because my dad doesn't have a CDL. Ben
  3. Hey, In order to facilitate the completion of our B60, we're going to need a parts truck. We're looking for a B Model thats rusty, but complete, so we can get things like the grille shell, trim, windshield, and other little things. We could just buy the parts at the wonderful Watts Mack, but we're on a budget, and its nice to be able to see how things fit together, and take the stuff at our leisure. We're located in Delmont PA, about 40 miles East of Pittsburgh. Anybody with a good truck or knows where there is one can post on this thread, or email me at peachezz131@gmail.com . Ben
  4. Looks like a sweet project, Uncle Rob. Have fun getting it home. I think you should be able to handle it, just as long as everything is legal. Ben
  5. Cool! I'm diggin' the B Model on the trailer too. Bunch of cool trucks there, that's for sure. Ben
  6. That Alvin Lee song is pretty cool. There was a good George Strait song that mentioned "Sailing Detroit Diesel Pirate Ships" but I can't remember the name of it. Ben
  7. Sure wish it had a Detroit. Then we'd be talking. Ben
  8. Well Uncle Rob, I've already heard that joke before a couple times, so it wasn't terribly funny for me. But that picture is very entertaining. Ben
  9. My dad has a Lincoln 110 volt MIG welder and it does the job very well every time. I can't wait to start using it when 14. Ben
  10. Somebody told us to put "Maxies" on our B60. I guess that is the name for spring brakes that your talking about here? Ben
  11. It was pretty rusty before, Uncle Rob. It think it will work now. Ben
  12. Check this out. It's Detroit Diesel the Band!!! Kind of wackey, but the name is awesome. Ben
  13. Hopefully, I'll get to drive it too. Maybe someday my uncle will tighten me up with a test drive of a 12V71-powered R Model as well. Ben
  14. Cool stuff, Cousin Vinny. I could sure go for a Detroit-Powered U Model, that's for sure. Cousin Ben
  15. See, that's the beauty of this website. We start talking about something Mack related, then the conversation starts spiraling crazily out of control. Then, someone like you trys to put us back on track. Take lots of pictures while you're there so we can see them. Ben
  16. Don't worry Cousin, if anyone calls you gay, I'm sure they will have some new garage doors in their house, made using Diesel-Powered tools. We all know you're a cool kid. Ben
  17. I've never seen anything like it before, so I won't be much help. But it's pretty cool though. Ben
  18. I'm one of the only people I know that still has a 40" telivision that weighs 400lbs. There's also six people in my family and we share one television, not one in every room. Ben
  19. Hey, save one for your Mack-lovin' cousin too. Those trucks are neat. Ben
