  1. Glad you folks like the pics. There's a lot more to the show than I was able to capture.
  2. Dammit, I think I missed you with my camera. I don't recall a KW with white steel budds either.
  3. I tried to get to Pat's and Geno's once, like a 1000 other people who'd seen them on TV the week before. The backs of the lines almost reached to the other restaurant. I asked a local on the sidewalk if they were really that good and he said not anymore. He sent us someplace else in the neighborhood and not only was the cheesesteak awesome, but I bet we were 30 miles out on the turnpike before the folks that would've been in front of us at the other two were served.
  4. I can't imagine that even the most radical environmentalist could look at the back of the purple MR and think "yeah, this is a good thing".
  5. I only have the one battery and had no idea how long it lasts, so I skipped all the small stuff and apparently a few others that I intended to go back to but forgot. The low battery light came on as I was downloading to the computer. My pleasure. A BIG Thank You to you and all the others who put the time, sweat, and money into your trucks to make the show such a great success!
  6. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!
  7. Great story. Glad you didn't get arrested or hurt.
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. Is that overspray on the wheels of the R model of some type of substance from where it works? Either way, it really cheapens the overall look of the truck.
  10. There was a storm in PA? TMC is smart enough to chain down that load but to stupid to see that he's blocking an access road. I hope the load made it to it's destination.
  11. That's what you call beauty and brawn. So, the RD is yours?
  12. I didn't want to post 125 pics in a thread so here's a link to my Photobucket. I will make an exception for the truck pictured below because I had to take a train and 2 buses to get to it. There might be a stack, wheel, or even half a truck missing from some of the pics, so use your imagination. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Ragman517/library/Macungie%20ATCA-2014
  13. I was halfway home when I thought "isn't gearhead from Washington state?" You deserve a keychain or sumthin.'
  14. Here ya go: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/34917-new-mack-logo/?hl=logo
  15. Must be an LTL load because I see some dispatcher brains on the tail end.
  16. Nice of him to pause for a photo op. Asshole.
  17. Looks like I might be able to pull off an out and back.
  18. Welcome! I like the clean, stock look of your truck.
  19. Nice! It's easy on the eyes but my back is starting to hurt.
  20. Nice Kibbles N' Bits.
  21. I was unaware that so many manufacturers had were experimenting with turbines but I guess no one wanted to be left behind. Here's an article from a 1973 Overdrive: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso.html http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso-1.html http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso-2.html http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso-3.html http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso-4.html http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_magazines/truck-and-trucking-/1973-overdrive-magazine/01-overdrive-magazi/january-1973-alliso-5.html
  22. "Report of Significant Rulemaking" from the "Let's Skew The Facts In Our Favor And Come Up With A Non-Sensible Rule To Justify Our Jobs" department. You folks already pointed out why this is a bad idea but unfortunately those in power only see what they want to see. I drive a truck governed at 65 mph and nobody is going to tell me that I would not be less likely to be involved in a collision if I were able to run just a mile or two an hour faster, especially since many of the interstates I travel have 70 mph limits. Fortunately there are trucks on the road that are not governed which reduces the amount of vehicles in the "fuster cluck"-Other Dog 2014. Isn't that where roughly 73 percent of the large trucks can be found?
  23. Thanks. That makes.....lemme see.....carry the one......two of us that feel that way!
  24. I get that feeling when changing any gear on a low-inertia Fuller. I'm such a whore.
