  1. I typed in the intersection and it left me at a fork in the road north of town. I had to mouse-click my way south to the correct location. Here are a couple of G-rated brochures from the 70's. http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/dodge/dodge_heavy_duty/ http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/dodge/dodge_heavy_duty-1/
  2. The last time I saw him, he had dyed his hair and was working in the restaurant biz.
  3. I figgered you would have had a decent amount of snow by now being as far upstate as you are. Next time, take your fishnet stockings down before snapping a picture. You can hang them in the bathroom to dry.
  4. You know the letter "E" Vinny. It's in Potatoes but not Potato.
  5. ..and had spelling issues. The correct spellings are: Potato Potatoes
  6. That could be. The problem with OD's pics is that you can only enlarge the ones that feature the wimmins he's either abducted or left stranded on the side of the road.
  7. That reminds me of Thanksgiving Day, 1972 I believe. My Dad was relased from jail early after serving around 26 days of a 30 day sentence . Anywho they let him go on Wednesday so he came and got me (I was living with my Aunt and Uncle at the time) and him and I went to Howard Johnson's for Thanksgiving dinner. I always liked the food at HoJo's. It had a "TV Dinner" taste to it. Did you puke?
  8. I was hoping you'd be able to work your puking into more than one thread. Is that U model an ex-Mason Dixon? They had the red wheels and bumpers and a big logo on the door.
  9. More details please! Was the vomit more liquidy or chunky? And the bag, was it paper or plastic? There is an "e" in potatoes, Mr. Quayle.
  10. You did the right thing.
  11. Welcome and whatever you do-DON'T POST ANY PICTURES! Heh Heh...reverse psychology.
  12. I was gonna say it was "right up my alley" but I figgered that, knowing this crowd, I would soon regret it.
  13. And we're all thankful you are here to celebrate with us Mike. Hope everyone and a great Thanksgiving!
  14. Nice photos. The B with the flames is nice, but the gold one is more my speed.
  15. That was the day I sent him a PM to say I was 3 weeks late and we needed to talk. Turns out it was a false alarm. Seriuosly, I hope everything is alright.
  16. That's kinda like the "A/C not working, probably just needs to be charged" line. I didn't know GMC was still using that style griil as late as '77.
  17. The Christmas season seems to begin earlier every year. 2 local radio statios have been playing Christmas music 24 hours a day for two weeks now. The season should not start until after Thanksgiving, IMO. What will this year's main course be at the P house, buzzard or boar hog? A safe, Happy thanksgiving to all!
  18. Nice surprise, especially when coming on here and expecting to see a New Jersey U model.
  19. My motel receipts said Harborcreek, so that's how I logged it.
  20. With a classic like that, you can't go wrong no matter what you decide. I don't have the mechanical aptitude to be able to look at the photo and determine the work involved, but I would decide how much work and/or how much money I wanted to put into it and take it from there. As I said, you can't go wrong.
  21. And what do we do in any situation where a female's face shouldn't be seen? All together now....."Put a bag over her head!"
  22. It seems inappropriate to put Ford W series stripes on a truck that won't fall apart. They do look good though.
  23. Any specifics on your location and what you are looking for as far as price and condition? There's always at least one member on here checking TruckPaper and Ebay Motors on a daily basis. It seems someone comes across something in their travels from time to time also. I ALMOST CRAPPED MY PANTS WHEN I SAW THAT!!! Comments like that are worse than coming on here and having to look at all those nasty wimmins in bikinis.
  24. Happy Birthday! Since I'm late I'll just put a request in for next year's cake: Yellow cake, chocolate icing, redhead filling.
  25. The grey vinyl Bostrom sounds exactly like the new eat that was put in the '81 single axle tractor I was driving. I'm not a fan of vinyl but that was a nice simple seat that did a great job of smoothing things out. IIRC it had a mechanical lumbar support.
