b61fred Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Hey, I have found a jake brake set up in arizona for a 220 cummins, The thing weighs like 200 lbs. with all the stuff that goes with it. I am not in a big hurry for it but I don't want to pay a fortune for these things. I had a auxiliery transmission shipped by fed-ex from indiana to north dakota. It weighed 375 lbs and it cost 400 bucks to ship it by Fed-ex. I would think there is a better solution. need some help b61 fred Quote 15 gears...no waiting! Freightrain Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Ya, don't use an expidited type carrier. A nice solid wood box and drop it off at Yellow or the like and you shouldn't pay much for it.
