Tom, I had  the ethanol gas blow the diaphragm out of the fuel pump on my Diamond T. I also use it in my 92 Caddy as it sits for long periods of time. NO gum up's!!!I have one station locally which sells the premium non-ethanol, with several who sell regular non-ethanol. Many of the motorcycles and boats in my area use it.

you are so lucky!!!

we are limited to availability of ethanol free gas here in the communist state of nu joisey. for me, the closest station is 55 miles away

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

You know I don’t know if we sell it here or not I usually just get the cheap shit but there’s ordinarily three choices on the pump. I’ve never even noticed what they are now I’ll have to look out of curiosity.

I’ve never had a problem with my V6 Mustang. It runs like a champ on the cheap shit.

same with my 21 5 liter 10 speed F150. it runs better and get better gas mileage on the "cheap gas" than it does on the 65 cent per gallon premium.

and here in joisey the "cheap" stuff is $4.25 to $4.89 depending where you go.

i saw the cheap stuff in static island tuesday at $5.19

BTW which island is usually static? That long one or the closer one to you on the way to Brooklyn?

And that trick with limitation of use of lead in the plumbing makes sence but also limits strength of the soldered points. Cooper itself is poisonus so seems doubtful limiting lead presenting in tiny junctions only.

The is a website which lists stations, by state, which sells non-ethanol gas.

Vlad, I assume tjc is referring to Staten Island Nj. Between Nu Joisey and NYC. Both of the islands are on my "NO NO" list anymore after having run them for 35 years!!!!!!!!

Brocky

lol that’s funny. Shit, Brocky….  You might have different issues, but as far as I’m concerned, there’s too many cars there. It’s no different than LA or for that matter of this place is the same way now too many cars too many lights too many people.

Traffic is ridiculous everywhere nowadays. I get out here to 460 and there's lines of traffic in both directions any time of day.

We went by the Walmart store in Winfall yesterday. I had to pick up a prescription and I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for Zina, she had to pay for a few items that she picked up. Here's a random Walmart parking lot picture-

I can get non ethanol gas at the Sheetz in Concord, I think it's 90 octane too. But of course it's the most expensivest gas. I heard that the issues with non ethanol is like Brocky was saying, vehicles that aren't run on a regular basis and the gas sits in them for a long period of time. That's why I use it in the generator, mowers, all the small engines. And from now on the Zinamobile.
