Beautiful work. Labor of love not expedience. For a trailer, I would go another route.

I got what was left of a parts truck. It had been cut up to make a dump trailer out of a rare tandem drive K series IHC. The complete truck, un cut was worth far more than putting the dump bed on some frame rails and a suspension.

question I have which I didn't see asked !! IS ::: are You looking to build a truck or trailer. we see this Mack suspension was from a modified trailer. determination is to find a Mack suspension??  as previous stated ; would make more sense if a trailer is being constructed to find a trailer set up  building a (Mack)  pictures appreciated

Sorry for any confusion. Yes we would like to still use this as a trailer. I was hoping to be able to find matching parts as everything bolts together easily. I understand that is becoming a long shot. If I can’t find what I need, we will have to modernize/customize the whole project. Very doable but at a much higher expense.

Wonder what was the origin of its body? Thick steel put together with rivets. Looks very massive and steady overall.

No conveyor. Just a heavy duty dump box. We have a few of these. (Tubs) is what we call them. They work nice for the heavy rock and concrete demo jobs. Also work good for tree work. Without a tailgate whatever you put in, it will come out.

Definitly some kind of tank,    terry:MackLogo:

You are correct regarding the tank. We have a few of these (tubs). They came from a local quarry contractor that built them in their slow times. The tanks are from retired railroad cars. The tub you see here must have been burned as it seems very brittle and has had to be welded back up. The others are better steel and are on on road trucks.
