Geoff Weeks Posted February 22 Share Posted February 22 Beautiful work. Labor of love not expedience. For a trailer, I would go another route. I got what was left of a parts truck. It had been cut up to make a dump trailer out of a rare tandem drive K series IHC. Yes we would like to still use this as a trailer. I was hoping to be able to find matching parts as everything bolts together easily. I understand that is becoming a long shot. If I can’t find what I need, we will have to modernize/customize the whole project. No conveyor. Just a heavy duty dump box. We have a few of these. (Tubs) is what we call them. They work nice for the heavy rock and concrete demo jobs. Also work good for tree work. We have a few of these (tubs). They came from a local quarry contractor that built them in their slow times. The tanks are from retired railroad cars. The tub you see here must have been burned as it seems very brittle and has had to be welded back up.
