When I pulled MDrives out, i could pick them up and put them on a pallet for core returns.. how could a trans that light be strong enough to handle huge torque and truck trains as described? Ill say one thing, the fact that mack used fire rings the way they did and nobody else really did it the way Mack did, I've always liked Mack for that. Definitely takes some of the worry out of head gaskets....as long as liner protrusion and deck and head flatness is near perfect. Rochester Diesel Definitely knows how to build a good flowing P7100, so pump, injectors and turbo will be the easy part. Timing you'll have to play with to get it right in my opinion since you're going full mechanical.
