Handy, yes, but it grows old quick, working out of a truck!  BTDT. No one brings parts out to you, you have to go fetch, there are plenty of things "back at the shop" that you know you have but not with you at the moment.

No matter how hard you try to think of everything you might need, there is always more that you don't have. Still there is alot you can accomplish with a mobile repair truck.

I kept a little Honda trail 70 in the back of my pickup for that very reason, parts fetching that is. I must have carried over 1000lbs of small odds and ends back and forth from the field to the shop. Pick it up and throw it in the back when done.

And sorry again for highjacking the thread lol.

The Pioneer seems more oriented as an OTR type truck, and the Anthem is seemingly a bridge between that and say a Pinnacle. Still, we've seen a couple day cab Pioneers that were ordered in, so I feel like there's an overlap of the two models. I think one difference would be technology, as the Pioneers have the option for the digital mirrors among other stuff. There's probably some other details like tuning and such, but for the most part they seem almost interchangeable.

I will also let everyone know that the new air systems are going to be wonderful to deal with, because they thought that brass fittings were so last year and went to plastic style that requires a tool to unplug. Add on a super complicated air dryer system that has a computer module JUST for it and BOOM; already had several brand new trucks have issues. Don't get me started on the also complicated 24v battery system!
