A very understanding boss of yours

Good luck with this possible project, sure would be a talking point cruising down the highway

Paul

Yes it would. If he gits his brother's on board it will be a go. It's awesome how good these guys are to me as a driver. I'm honestly here till the end of my working days.

I'm likin the red R-model - western. a Rubber Duck truck for me would be a Mack R-700 western. either RL700L or RS700L . personal preference only. a Superliner excellent choice also. with a superliner might eliminate the legal stuff from someone saying you copied a R model without permission ???

Is the superliner purchased by the boss? And who owns the R model ?

The plan is in the works. I've actually got three Bosses(Three Brother's took over the family owned company when their Dad passed)and The one said if he can git his brothers on board then he's got no problem with my idea. The Red R model evidently sold cause it disappeared from Marketplace.

This was the best candidate for what you'd like to see of a Rubber Duck replica. But the engine option would ruine the idea of driving it for work.

If I could grab that truck I'd catch it with both of my hands. But I already have more toys than my resourses allow me to bring in order.

A Superliner convertion could be done too. But that's a shame on my mind to ruine a Superliner converting it into anything else. You might sell the hood of it to compensate some expences though.

My Idea is not to do what has already been duplicated. It will be A Rubber Duck Truck yes but with my Spin on it. It will have the 60 inch bunk,Be totally blacked out with the exception of the Grille,And it will have My Companies name scripted it on it in the old school lettering. And it will have the Duck Hood ornament. The other Superliner I've found has a 400.Cummins and a 13 speed sitting on New way air ride and the frame is long enough to accommodate the 60 inch bunk.

Exactly my Point of my idea. A Rubber Duck Truck yes but with My Twist on it. Not a Duplicated 100% Replica.

This is What I've found and plan on piecing together. Then its paint it black, Straight pipes, Company logo in the Original old school lettering on the doors, Of course redo the sleeper interior and add some things like a dresser etc, also remove those fairing on the bunk. And add some tastefully done Chicken lights too.I know the original RD Truck had a air dam but I'm not going for 100% Replica That's already been done countless times. Then start hauling milk with it and take it to truck shows ( Mid-American truck show especially)parades, and maybe touch a truck events. Screenshot_20250914_144915_Facebook.thumb.jpg.aa8c63bb91c18296199a597a713f73ff.jpgScreenshot_20250914_210153_Chrome.thumb.jpg.6b74ced10fc36f3d98f35af60d9949db.jpgScreenshot_20250914_210159_Chrome.thumb.jpg.535f1af818eb90903cf52ec8cb1ca8ad.jpgScreenshot_20250914_210205_Chrome.thumb.jpg.e29120cf11035e73afed577bd7900344.jpg

a little bit of work ,BUT the possibility's are endless.  without imagination ,willingness to try ; there would be no airplanes (orvill &wilber);  phones (mr bell) == you got the idea. GO for it. just keep BMT updated -for positives and set backs.
