bigrigclassics Posted December 1, 2021 Share Posted December 1, 2021 I have a 1975 Mac f786 with air wipers. They don't work. The part number on the motor is a APMS 502-3. Vladislav Posted December 1, 2021 Share Posted December 1, 2021 Someone was selling brand new air motors for a F-model on ebay a few months back. Something in between of $100 and $200 range. I even bought one for use in a R-model. From my observations the general design was similar and difference was in the style of the part which mates to the linkage. Seemed reworkable so I grabbed it. Freightrain Posted December 2, 2021 Share Posted December 2, 2021 (edited) Many times they are just gunked up. Have you checked the reversing valve, as that can cause issues. My truck had issues but after removing and cleaning the motor/reversing valve and some new air lines it will near throw the blades off it goes so fast.
