Whiskymack Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 Just looking at a 70's DM brochure. Engine choices listed are all Mack or Mack Scania with Cummins options for the DM 800. I know of 2 superliner tractors ordered with 8v92tt detroits and 13 over trans 1 Quote when you are up to your armpits in alligators, it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp.. Bullheaded Posted November 4, 2021 Share Posted November 4, 2021 I have a Mack full line brochure from around 1980 and it shows the V8 Detroits available in the DM800. My friend had a DM800 winch tractor with a V8 Detroit. Detroit's were very popular here where I am back in the day. Was a few 2-stroke Superliners pulling logs too.
