yarnall Posted April 8, 2019 Share Posted April 8, 2019 The AC started life as a fire truck/ ladder truck. It was later used as a bar in Boston. There was a great article about it in Double Clutch. j hancock Posted April 8, 2019 Author Share Posted April 8, 2019 Yes, it was purchased brand new to serve as a fire truck for Keene, NH then as a backup fire truck in Vermont. After many years, it than was used as bar decoration at the Firehouse Restaurant (or a similar type name) in Worcester, MA before Rich Kurzontkowski bought the remains at auction. It had been cut apart at the back of the cab. Rich had to find or build everything to make it a complete truck again.
