High Point would have heavier spring pack and or blocks and they also ran 10 or 11x 24 rubber on it

correct on the tire size. if i remember correctly they only ran 10X24 rubber on the  front of the trucks with heavy spring packs.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Like Paul said, bigger springs and blocks raises the whole truck.  Bottom edge of the wrecker cab lines up with top of tire.  Bottom edge of wrecker cab is parallel with the top of the fuel tank.  

RD dump truck on 24" rubber showing the same "look".  Plenty of clearance between the tire and fender
