Saw somewhere that you need a#12 lens to be safe with a welding hood mine are all #10 so I made a cardboard box viewer, it actually works, but the eclipse is about 1/2" in diameter! My grandkids were given a legal day off school for the eclipse! Of course they milked the snot out of that! We only got a couple minutes to see it then it was covered by clouds!
