for me it was a tricycle b 2 cyl      ya cranked it with the flywheel

Here is the one I rode before school  and on Saturday discing. I could never use the cultivators because I did not have enough ass to operate them up and down. That is my grandson on it. It is a 1940 B which my father bought used in about 1952. It came out on steel.

 Yes, open flywheel. No electrics except magneto.
