BKrois Posted January 30, 2016 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Toying around with fixing up a B61T I acquired for snowplowing work next season, was thinking of converting the air wipers to electric just due to being able to have more speeds. I went with a friend today to look at a truck in NY and the seller had a B model fire truck with top mounted wipers that used American Bosch individual electric wiper motors. He had a 1996 IH school buss as a donor vehicle. One of the things he did was use the electric wiper motor from the buss in the mack. He put the electric motor in place of the air motor.
