I have a set of 3.65s I thought about putting in a RS700L with an 865 and a 1070 ten speed overdrive on 22.5 hi tread tires, do you think it would be too high geared for bobtailing around. what would the top speed, would 4.17 or 3.86-3.87 be better. I know you have the horsepower to pull 3.65s loaded but I didn't think the 865 would have the power to pull a load with 3.65s. does a 1070 10 speed Mack have the same overdrive that a Roadranger has. if I could find the bellhousing mounts for a westcoast R model or a Cruiseliner with a Roadranger I would like to put a 13 speed Roadranger in it, I have the bellhousing just need the bell mounts.
