E7 300 in a boat

Here's the deal I run two E7 300 mechanicals in a boat. For my setup they work great. I'm needing a few more horsepower. I don't know too much about motors, but was wondering if I need to buy a set of 350's or 400's. Or could you soup them up? I want to stay mechanical. Mine are 96' motors. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Timmy,

Now that you mention it, I do not remember working with any pump other than RBosch for the E7 (mechanical or electronic).

And you know how all trucker stories start...."you are not going to believe this but....".
