CroakerSoaker Posted October 12, 2014 Share Posted October 12, 2014 Here's the deal I run two E7 300 mechanicals in a boat. For my setup they work great. I'm needing a few more horsepower. I don't know too much about motors, but was wondering if I need to buy a set of 350's or 400's. Or could you soup them up? I want to stay mechanical. Mine are 96' motors. Seems to me the easiest way is just to swap the pump injectors and turbo from a 400. Maybe you could buy a couple of 400s and swap out the parts, and have a bunch of replacement parts as a bonus. farmer52 Posted October 12, 2014 Share Posted October 12, 2014 Yes there is a difference in RBosch and AMBAC. Mack used both depending on the rating. I believe all the "electronic" pumps were RBosch.
