gearhead204 Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 lucky! not to many log truck wrecks around here are fixed with a new mirror and bracket our last one in nov. totaled a w900l even the trailer. the driver endowed it going up hill empty!! speed might have been a factor. The ice storm we had made it difficult for the loggers.Bet you couldn't flip a truck on a "private" road and slide it sideways onto the lane of a highway that perfectly if you wanted to.For sure! It was easy to reload though and then they up righted Ed and I saw him hauling later that day.So lucky!! I'm glad he is ok though, and the truck is in working order He'll be talking about this one for a long time! Ed works with me under the mill all summer with his dump truck. bulldogboy Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 The truck carrying the crane parts down Lowell Mountain hit a soft shoulder on the road and rolled over. A bulldozer was in front of the truck helping it to descend the mountain slowly when the truck hit the soft shoulder. In October, 2012, a Loomis armored truck struck a telephone pole on Rte. 100 in Lowell.
