anyone have a part number for the lug nut that holds the clamping wedge on, just got back from the parts house and they can order it if I come up with a part number unless its for a pilot hub or budd thimble they were lost

They are also smaller than rear axle Lug Nut

Not to step on anybody's toes but I think Mike means they are 1 1/16" hex.

The thread size is 5/8-11 and I'm pretty sure they were "ball face" nuts.

The pt.#s for 5/8" ball face nuts are as follows:

Dayton #13-8002

Euclid #E-4986A

Erie #538U

BWP #M-44

I know that most trucks are now running aluminum or steel wheels instead of spokes, but sort of sad the parts house didn't have good people or people that were a little more experienced to help you out on something sort of simple.

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Kinda funny I thought myself I bought both the wedge and the nut and he started looking in a book and then got out a caliper then went back to the book and said if you can find a part number I can order them for you.
