BOB DINGSDALE Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 The first ones had 12V71s with Allison 5960's then they went to KTA's with the 6061 Allisons.They were built and designed for Menzie Bay Div of MacMiillan Bloedel just north of Cambell River B C .I think there was 29 built in total.A lot of them are still hauling logs at the north end of Vancouver Island and Queen Charletts.All were built in Ontario plant as cab and chassis then came to Vancouver to be fitted for water tanks,bunks and trailers at Columbia Trailer.
