  2. You can go to any shop that deals with rims. They can usually set you up with the right offset or inset. Mine gets right up to the bumper. I actually got to watch where I have my bungees set for my oversize banner as I have hit and broke them. You could run I believe it is a 385/65 r 22.5. Little smaller then the full size floats,Cheaper, and easier to turn.
  3. I have them on mine for the weight. I run upwards of 20000 to 24000 on my steers. Most states won't give that unless you got 425/65 R22.5's on. Also for off road. Wide tire better float ability. Now depending on what you run in they can also slow you down and get stuck off road. Big thing in sand down in Fl.Idk much about Macks but most 20k steers or bigger have 2 steering boxes or a steering box and a hydraulic cylinder. If you haul any kind of weight on the front end. With big floats with one box unless set up for it will be a PITA. Do you have spoke wheels or budds up front? When I put them on my Pete I had the offset already in the wheels.It turns alright considering my Wheelbase. But has shortened up a little since adding the other steer box. Hope that helps.

  5. That thing is a horse. We got one in Jacksonville,Fl I have only seen once. It is a tridrive twin steer Kw. Now both front axles drive. Had I have thought about it I would of gotten pics. This was a few years ago. Was a boom truck of some sort
  6. I had an old F250 i did up. Had a 300 6 banger in it that would eat up alot of mustangs.I had about 2500 into that motor. Inline 6 performance parts where not cheap. Had a 4 speed with the low first. If I could keep hubs in it I could smoke all 4 tires
  7. That is a sweet looking ride. Atleast you kept it all Ford and not kill it by putting a Generic made chevy motor in it.
  8. I use to run a gallon or Marvel in each tank every few weeks. With the Ulsd. Also run a gallon in the crank case when We did the inframe to help it break in. Been running Marvel in my gen every4th or 5th tank of fuel. Mind you it is mounted on the back of my truck and runs every night and all weekend 24 hours.
  9. I know that driveline angle on airrides is critical and not just for vibrations. Drove an old Ats Shaker and could not keep transmissions in it. Long story short the ride height was to low and the driveshaft was running out of slide and was then smacking the back of the case. Ergo Oil loss and damage to the case and every few months doing transmissions.

  11. Could try a 15 speed. which is a 10 speed with a deep reduction. Just not sure you'd have enough motor to pull it in 10th

  13. to the jungle OJT is great and you learn alot. More then a school. But I do have a friend of mine that goes to Penn college in Williamsport. seems to be a good college
  14. Look at what the unions have done to Gm. At 1 point in time you needed them. That time has come and gone. Do like Wi and some of these other states have done or are trying and let the Economy fix it self. Look at pro sports, look at teachers unions. You can't fire them. And there are alot that need to be fired. or put in jail. I guess coming from a right to work state I look at it differently. Never been union and have no intentions of going that route. What do police and fire need them for. There jobs are safe as they are needed.
