  1. Welcome to the Jungle
  2. I've never run a track loader, Only rubber tired. I moved one not that long ago. 1 thing I do not understand is why would you reverse the controls from a rubber tired machine to a track machine. Thank god nobody was near me I would of probally killed them. Reached for the outside lever pulled back to raise the arm and the bucket dumps. Had to scratch my head on that one. Of course no stickers anywhere to show the functions. If I ever bought one the controls would go to a wheel loaders controls. I know I was happy with the 950 we had. We'd go anywhere, do just about anything the dozer could do. or hell a backhoe for that matter. When you don't have what you need you use what you got.
  3. Might of been. I did that loading a Mack mixer on a lowboy one time. Since I never did it, I didn't know what to expect. I think I stalled 5 times before I ever got on the trailer. I honestly don't know if it had a power divider either.
  4. It was something I remember my dad telling me about Macks with Mack rears when he had his B45
  5. I might be wrong but I thought on the older Macks you could lightly touch the brake pedal to lock them all in. Am I wrong?
  6. These are some awsome pics!! This brings back alot of memories of when my dad had his business. I'd ride in the R model dump on weekends or anytime I was out of school. Rode on our 950,D5,235, or other trucks. Ran the hell out of them. I miss the dirt business but transporting them is cool to.
  7. They where not my first choice. Nobody back home in South Fl would even give me the time of day. IT was a joke. International sat down and we spec'd out a truck. Never to be heard from again. Volvo thought I lost my mind when I told them the wb I wanted and the whole nine yards. South Fl Mack. Wouldn't even come out to talk.Said there is only one sleeper take it or leave it. The list goes on. I found mine in the Truck trader. Was everything I wanted with a few little exceptions. whoever spec'd out the truck built an animal. but put a 13k steer in it. which has been replaced and the passenger side steer box going on in a few weeks to complete the transformation. This was the only one that fit into what I was looking for for heavy haul otr. I could of done like my old boss and went out got a light truck and put an axle on it. I'd of been a hell of a lot lighter. My dad flew up looked at it. We do have paper work but it came with no warranty. All in all I've been happy with the truck. It goes where I want,Pulls, and rides good. I originally got this to go into Mines. I was taking the shaker I was driving into a ton of mines and it was taking a beating. Bought this and haven't been in one mine. Go figure. Would I buy from them again Idk but I've dealt with them. I am seriously thinking of Mack when I buy another but want to see what other bugs the Titan has. Time will tell. But I can say this I will not buy anything from south fl.
  8. Including mine your the 2nd person that I have heard say the truck wandered. you got the 385's or the 425's on the front
  9. ANother polish I found that works really good with little effort is Busch. Might have to order it online as not everyone carries it. I spent all of 5 mins 1 day doing mine. Knees got to hurting and said the hell with it. I'll pay someone to machine polish the whole truck
  10. I thank you all for the feedback. I'm gonna run this till it dies then go from there. I sent a message to TTC since I read in there FAQ's that they will build custom setups so maybe they can do a high torque when the time comes, Just waiting on a response. I am just trying to get away from the air stuff on the trans. Been having problems with splitter freezing in the cold. I've pulled the lines and blew them out and flushed alcohol thru them, new dryer, and did the air comp. cold weather it still acts up. I figure It will hold up another year. I'll deal with it then
  11. That is true. I usually investigate real thorough before I buy anything. Was told when we bought this from Coopersburgh Kw it had had an inframe there. The company we hired to bring it home barely made it. Got it to the shop and had to readjust the valve train as it was never adjusted right. 3 years later this past Jan we just did an inframe. Little things that end up major.
  12. I'm running 100 psi in my lift axle. that usually about 18 to 20k on the axle. some states I have to leave it down or use my outside controls and then I can't lift from the inside. Heavy Haul is different then a Rock bucket but you might try 60psi or if you got a cat scale near you when loaded and if you got the wb pull your steer off and put your lift on the steer pad and leave your drives on the drive pad. or weigh it normally and then come back and put the steer and lift on the pad and just subtract the difference. I can't see the pic so I do not know if it is a steerable or solid.if they allow 20 on the steer back off alittle on the pressure and roll the weight forward. When I run 20 on my steer i have to cut my axle to roughly 90 psi to roll enough forward with my 5th right in between the front drive and lift. you might want to think of fixing and selling.
  13. Idk if this will work or not but when I drove a Coronado with a detroit the egr screwed up and the charge air had a hole in it. go figure maiden voyage. Bobtail ran great. somehow or another I don't remember what happened but I ran it wide open for about a min or so and the check engine light would start to flicker then come on. when it stayed solid it ran great. ran good enough to get the truck back and let fliner fix it. Now mind you the truck was in gear. Everytime I had to shut it off when I would start it I had to run the hell out of it 3 to 5 mins then the light would come on and off we'd go
  14. I was never impressed when I saw them. When I bought this I was looking for pre Egr or Cummins. Heard to many horror stories
  15. Oh yeah They'll lie thru there teeth to make a sale.
  16. I'm running the 3406E in this and so far been knocking out 4.5 to 5. I pulled a flat for a bit and with 100% idle was knocking out 5.98 I cant complain about this at all. considering pulling my lowboy I am 57k empty
  17. I think thats a Landstar Inway truck with the 43 number. I just can't remember what was on the door when I saw it.
  18. I saw that truck a few years ago at the Ta in Jackson,Ga. it damn sure is ugly to say the least
  19. I recently saw that set up in Tn sitting at the Wilco in White Pine. Never saw anything like that. Has to be alot easier then the stacked bunch
  20. where you on BCO Forum before? Name rings a bell. so does that pic

  21. Beyel Bros crane has a couple of the M911s floating around Fl. That is a mean looking truck
  22. My names Randy. I live in Hollywood,Fl. Been around trucks most of my life Been around macks a good portion of that till my dad sold his stuff. I'm an O/O leased to Greentree out of Pa. I would of bought a Mack but after the dealing with the local Mack dealer I looked else where and bought my Pete. Also nobody had a truck of any kind set up anywhere remoteley close to what I wanted in a Heavy Haul truck to run the road. But to redeem myself lol I have been entertaining the notion since things are going alot better here then where I was previously leased. Been giving the Titan a good hard look. Figure on getting a long wb and have it sent to ICT or someone to put a big house on it. Me,the wife and the dog are cramped in this 63" sleeper. We also have a house size fridge in here.
