  1. Now I have to pull out Mack manual and see if I can find it now it’s been burning hot past couple days haven’t done anything
  2. well, thanks for that according to the Mack manual I have seen from double clutching weasel I think that’s where I saw it. It was supposed to mean 6 six wheel truck, which doesn’t make too much sense to me because that’s what they’re calling. A twin drive or twin axle…. Bob
  3. Sorry I can’t help you much except I used to work at a gulf gas station back in 75-76 always has the same guy delivering our gasoline he was very sociable. I do remember the colors well but it was a LN 8000 Ford twin axle but that’s all I got…. Very interested stories thanks for that… I’ve been around big rigs since 1960 my uncle had a fleet of Brockways. Bob
  4. If I were you, I would call watts B model store good luck … bob
  5. It happens there was a very knowledgeable guy on here a while back that told me my truck was originally a single axle since it has an S in the serial number not all of us know it all, but I guess some people are pretty sure about something enough to argue a point that is not true
  6. Tried to buy a belt about six months ago. That was absolutely nothing I could find anywhere made here . Boot world wanted 50 bucks for Chinese belt …. I’m not paying that found one in kohls for half that made in Spain bob
  7. But then I got everything I want house payment around 800 bucks instead of 3,000 plus like some people have
  8. Matt My wife hates mine … but I don’t blame her for that… because her biggest complaint is because you have that thing we can’t live in a regular neighborhood like everyone else gets to do lol bob
  9. So in other words, they sold us down the river years ago and now there’s no way of paddling back ha ha pretty much the size of it. I’m glad I’m old. Next generation can worry about it…. Bob
  10. Yes I mentioned that couple of weeks ago .. bean counters hard to find real leaders my wife’s company is a perfect example… the right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing, and if you have a legitimate complaint or suggestion, nobody wants to hear it, and it never gets to the top … bob
  11. Heh almost missed this… excellent hopefully you don’t find yourself loosing interest at your age as I did…. It takes alotta patience and concentration I didn’t realize till I started working on mine or tryed to get it finished… I realized u had a lot more to offer as a teenager.. devotion to these models seems to have slipped away with time best of luck with that… also I’ve never seen the freightliner but I think I put together the peterbilt conventional and cab over long time ago bob
  12. Oh, forget about all provided by Asia…. Yeah baby makes one proud to be American … right around where I grew up I think we had 3 shoe plants all closed now .sorry hippy you started the ball rolling lol bob
  13. That’s fantastic almost missed this one these days over here. Anything goes used to be vintage car show now they just call them show and shine and you can show up with anything any year. But most of them are charity so people are paying to enter their vehicle. and I look at most anything if somebody showed up with it. It’s worth a look over …that’s way. Cool you got a double whammy. not only a fun time, but you got the red carpet treatment on top of that…. Wow.. bob
  14. Oh, ain’t that the truth as long as they got their cell phone and their tablet and there man bun they’re all good bob
  15. I did get drunk one time. I called my stepdaughter a bad word because that’s what she is. Most times when I left my mother-in-law she would say you behave yourself now so I wasn’t allowed to drink in front of relatives anymore actually, my mother-in-law was way cool. We lost her last summer. Wife made it back this afternoon. I’ll beat to hell and sunburned and she cut up her knee. somewhere in Lake Tahoe.
