  1. Oh, where do I find the numbers on my shoes? Also, what do you mean by 79?
  2. And yes, Geoff I have tried to clean oily brake linings they continue to bleed through hobby truck that might not ever leave my property I’m trying to cut corners all the linings are around half worn so I’ll probably try to save them maybe soaking them in some high-powered solvent for a while
  3. Already then thanks for all your input fellas . Last time I needed something I went to Freightliner. they didn’t have what I needed . The parts counter guy was very helpful and glad to Help sending me in the right direction. Same with the Kenworth dealer both places were very much happy to help, even though I was looking for Mack parts.

  16. OK, wife is still running with her friend. I’ll run on out there and take a few more photos for the curious minds.
  17. No, it doesn’t have caps. I’ll go out there and take some more pictures of the morning. Or tomorrow’s sometime I’m exhausted at least I’m glad we’re getting somewhere here instead of hearing NA ha ha that’s like a four letter word
  18. This thing that’s in there looks like a regular car axle seal it’s got a lip around the edges so you don’t push it too far as I mentioned. It looks too new to be original.
  19. I think this wedding rang thingy is probably the biggest issue as you all can see. It’s pretty grooved. I’m surprised it didn’t leak earlier than it did.
  20. Well, I just got back. Thanks for all your input fellas I was having nightmares first glance of anfirst glance of a portable machine axle repair and yes, that makes sense outside bearing grease. I think we heard that from High crop on his B 81 there is definitely no grease in this outer bearing. It’s just rearend oil and the outside seal seems to be in really good shape
  21. OK, I just went out and took a peek. It definitely looks like it has a ring around the housing which was a pretty clever idea on somebody’s part. Looks like about a 16th of an inch thick.
  22. Only takes like 20 minutes to get down there. I’ve already been waiting an hour.
