    Los Angeles Mack used to lend me tools all the time but I was always there back in the early 80s sure helps a lot with the specialized tools.. bob

    Oooooooooooo ok I also thought of that …. Somebody might have bought them a long time ago and never used them and perhaps sitting behind a business where they were hidden … until some grouchy old guy never wanted to sell them just my guess old timer passéd and now thier available either way I don’t think they will last long…… that’s an incredible score …..     Boy that certainly is a good looking sob thanks for the post my uncle hadda later emeryville way back in around 1962 I don’t even remember exactly what year but I was just a young kid he hadda fleet of brockways but for some reason he owned that IH cab over and a 50s GMC maybe he started with them both not sure… Bob

    Lots of good advice their fellas if I were you I would at least try it myself it might take you a little longer but you would sure save a lot of money any vehicle repair of these days is very expensive specially hard core muscle work like you have there good luck …. If you’ve got the money cool go for a reputable shop ……. Bob

    I just recently threw out an old Thomas Brothers map are used to use in the 80s it was very very handy back then it was like a Bible city streets of Los Angeles in orange county didn’t need it anymore but I hated like hell to throw it out it was like losing an old friend but I didn’t need it anymore and it was just taking up space still hard to part with ha ha kind of reminded me of what you were talking about there ….
