  3. I have only done one and that was in 1986 or as I remember everything was like 1200 but that included all six holes But that included sleeves pistons wrist pins bearings gaskets frankly up I was going through the urge of that was what I would do especially on a clean up keeper … bob

  13. It looks like a chunk missing to me according to the photograph just like you said I would be afraid to use it If the counterbore is warped the liner will not come out without a huge fight … bob

  17. Kind of nice when you get to the point where you don’t really need any obsolete parts I will be route placing all my fuel lines soon and I was really surprised to see they look like the same exact sizes my 2021 Kenworth is still using pressure and return… bob

  20. Yes that truck is always exciting yes there air starter leaks gonna drive you crazy. I don’t have any issues yet but then again it’s been sitting in the same spot for 28 years with all brand new parts ha ha …. Bob

I don’t think your sleeves are going to pop out but who knows I freed up a Chrysler slant six years ago just with mystery oil at typing the Pistons real light with a chunk of wood and I hammer again patience don’t get in a hurry but If the rings are rusted to the cylinder walls you’re better off to punch them out and at least clean everything and reassemble ..
