    if this helps last kit i bought was around 1200 bucks ....300 apiece exchange for rebuilt heads....but that was 37 years ago ,,,so probably triple that,,,,and if available????? bob

    i looked at an 80 R model for sale one time...oakland california mack dealer....it had a steel dash,,,,i went back in and told the salesmen about it....they were all dumbfounded,,,and so was i...lol...strange things happen sometimes bob

    Yes, this is the worst winter I have seen in lots of years, but absolutely horrible. More snow from last night through the weekend. Oh goody.

    Thanks for that Paul I was pretty much the same way I am broken with truck drivers that started with chain drives and two of my uncle’s were auto and truck mechanics with thier own shop and yes, I was a typical smart ass teenager like most young guys, but I was always all ears when I was around these older fellows … Bob
