  1. When I started driving, we still had a lot of them around and they didn’t have Maxis if the air leaked out the trailer would roll away when you try to hook to it
  2. That thing is hideous but thanks for the post Dolly Wheel’s now there’s something you don’t see every day and if you do, it’s usually sitting out in a field somewhere a banded lol bob
  3. I don’t blame you. My company is not that tight. I don’t know why they use such garbage on our trailers and Congers. They are blowing out constantly in the summer as I mentioned, we generally don’t have trouble with the drive tires. I don’t know what the difference is.
  4. Me too but again I know almost nothing about Cummins.. although I’ve been running them most all my life… Bob
  5. Yes, they do hold quite a bit. We use them but they’re usually for doubles to contact a Congear to the front trailer.weight usually between 300 -1000 pounds Bob
  6. I’ll be doing it all when I finally get to my DM except the two reupholstered seats and for sure tire change I am not doing them besides, I’m hoping to go to tubeless used container chassis ha ha and Larry. No I would not do that.unless they are tubeless …. I used to repair split rim tube types as a teenager. They are a ball buster.
  7. No, I do not get it either. They’re usually on the back of a dump truck unless I’m misunderstanding.Bob
  8. And yes, the tire was still inflated. The cap just left the tire I was bouncing so bad just to get it to a safe spot. I thought there was a lot more damage possibly DEF tank leaking and tore up. Absolutely no damage except the quarter fender … Bob
  9. I haven’t even seen one in years
  10. Compression release??????? my God bud you’re giving away your age.. lol bob
  11. I’m sure most of the fellows on here or thinking the same thing
  12. I’ll tell you what bud I would be pissing myself if that truck was headed my way. Bob
  13. God love you if the frame is really thick, it’s aluminum
  14. Oh, bought a 73 RL back in in 86 237 maxidyne I hated that thing it wasn’t so much the transmission the engine was gutless 40,000 pounds on the grapevine down to 12 miles an hour but the point being that transmission drove me crazy you’re constantly wanting to drop gears
  15. Extra hundred dollars or Whiskey come on back… Bob
  16. No man must’ve misunderstood Paul. Yes, they were new recaps only three weeks old I don’t get it. We usually don’t have any trouble with our tractor recaps tires. They’re all recaps and they run right down to smooth two hour delay. It wasn’t bad but I was already out of the yard one hour late, so a total of three hours. $$$
  17. Peterbilt pugsly get it rite bud!!!!!!!!
  18. Through the cap at 60 miles out of town I was almost done for the weekend. Oh well at least it’s Friday. I’d really be pissed if it was Monday. They just put those on around three weeks ago…. Bob
  19. Oh, sorry about that. I worded that wrong. I was talking about the oil filter. I guess I shouldn’t have said oil bath I am frustrated. I just blew out a tire 60 miles out drive tire recap they just put them on about three weeks ago.
  20. No the conversion kit for the spin on I’m not going to bother with it
  21. I was also thinking of changing my oil bath filter, but I’m thinking about my age and how many more Times am I actually going to change it maybe once bob
  22. Interesting with the Cummings motor the breather is usually square I had a western myself my doors were aluminum . That’s terrific that it runs good for you. You must be foaming at the mouth to get it to your place. I know we all would be ha ha.. Bob
  23. I still say, I would’ve separated the two no not the fighting bar patrons,,, lol Bob
