    Might’ve started up that way, but by 1970 they were all over the turnpikes up and down with freight trucks mostly at night. They certainly made a big splash for quite a while. Thanks for that…. Bob

    I have a 66 DM also owned an 87U model. I had the same flat back. I understand they were still using them lotta years after they went to the +3. Not sure what the reason for that was I think they gave people an option on the DM and U model I am only 5-7 and my seat is all the way back in the DM I don’t even know how tall guys fit in them

    Highcrop and Matt were discussing B model cab possible differences while back got me thinking,,,extra floor braces??? , I guess it’s possible such as convertible cars used to come with a heavier frame ,, remember??? Bob

    That was excellent and yes, the race to the bottom has certainly started pretty scary. I can see a revolution coming. There’s only so far you could push people before they’re sick to death of being pushed getting ready for a colonoscopy this morning and a few hours, it hasn’t been going anywhere near as rough as I thought, get up at 3 o’clock in the morning and finish the magic potion I started last night can’t wait to start eating again ha ha Again thanks for that story and yes, it sounds like you’re nation is not much different than this one … bob

    It’s possible Paul as I mentioned I have owned both models, but I am certainly not an authority like Mechohaulic says still learning every day, especially on here now I’m gonna throw a monkey wrench in the whole tread. What about the DMM ????? lol Bob

    I’ve seen two in my area so far right now they are hideous..even if you could get by the looks bed doesn’t really hold anything
