  1. It’s amazing this trash, walk around with their pockets, full of money and do absolutely nothing for it
  2. And that wrecking yard has since closed. I tried to contact him a couple of weeks ago they’re gone.
  3. Not sure if you caught my story a while back I took $150 down to a nose300 miles from here around 20 years ago took a look at it and I didn’t think it was any better than the one I had so I changed my mind drove home that was before I realized mine was as rough as it was Once I started grinding off the old damage. I thought are you shitting me Why didn’t I just give that guy the money and take the nose home? Oh well, I’ll get this cleaned up. It’s just taking way longer than I thought.
  4. I was just curious are you talking about pressure wash or run the baking soda through the sandblaster????
  5. Oh, I forgot about hamburgers. There’s a number of places in town that serve excellent burgers here.
  6. You know, Dave I don’t like to throw anything out for a good part of the time every time I do I need it right after I get rid of it. It’s just happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I sold my CB to one of the other drivers And I wanted to give them some hold down screws with it. I had two brand new in a box. I just threw out about a month ago.
  7. OK, the wife got after me to start picking up our leaves. Yes we have a bit of foliage here not like you guys back there but just when I’m gonna get started. It’s supposed to rain at 10 o’clock or start raining ain’t that a bitch? I don’t think it has rain here in three months.
  8. Excellent I didn’t think it was last long at that price
  9. lol my only issue there was too many days of lousy weather that was my reason for leaving… my area is good for steaks ribs and excellent Mexican food….Chinese is not very good here…decent meatball and sausage sandwiches are hard to find…

  13. No,what you’re looking at what’s left of grinding and sanding out old repairs a mix of Bondo primer paint and other fiberglass repairs I’m getting rid of all of the older stuff and starting fresh. This will be a little bit tricky but I’ll get her done.
  14. well here we go again fellas making it look worse again,,,bob
  15. I’ve only seen one in my life and that was in LA. I used to see the truck all the time working in the area, but that was a long long time ago.
  16. Was just poking around looking for pewter pot and Brigham ice cream shop apparently they’re both gone. I was glad to see Land and sea was still open in my hometown don’t know if you’ve ever been there, but they’ve got the best fried clams in the world. They still carry a 4 1/2 star rating. They are very hard to get out here and find them. They’re usually dinky kind of tough and forget about the batter you’re not going to find that anywhere here,
  17. Ha ha I don’t think I’ve ever driven anything that beat up bob
  18. Can’t help you, but my transmission also makes some sort of weird clicking noise when it’s in neutral. Engine running I don’t know what it is, but my transmission is junk and I will be changing it anyway, but curious to see what you come up with.. bob
  19. We used to have a truck show here at the Alamo every year. I haven’t really heard about it in a long time but I used to fuel there every morning and I haven’t been in there in 18 years pretty much started working for Fedex and 2006 and they had their own fuel pumps, so I didn’t need to go into the Alamo anymore so I don’t know if they still have them or not They also had trucker appreciation day where we could all go in there with a class a license and get a free steak dinner. Don’t know if that is still going either.
  20. I’m starting to have that sock issue myself as well as trying to tie my shoes. I think it’s the truckers gut I’ve developed
  21. One of my first jobs was a trash truck. One of those I didn’t get to drive it. I was working the back throwing trash, leach compactor.
  22. Yes, I’ve mentioned a time or two. I sold the 62 Ford wagon, low mileage one owner family car around 1990. I am still kicking myself in the ass getting rid of it.
  23. Right? I tried to sell quick farms some parts I knew I had and I could not find them anywhere.
  24. Fortunately, it’s all labor not very expensive to fix just a lot of time which I have plenty of now. Ha ha I have been saving all kinds of containers different sizes shapes for backing.
  25. I would be pissing myself to have that now
