  1. Maybe you could have a machine shop rivet it back on if possible? Also I would use Some Mother's mag aluminum polish on that tag. It will shine it up really good.
  2. They look like they could be sisters there OD lol
  3. So after my Grandpa passed away we cleaned out his house. I came across this Keychain. It has a knive on the right and a file on the left. I believe it came from the dealership when he bought one of his B models. If anyone has any other info please share.
  4. I'm sorry if it came across as if I was crying about the picture I posted I don't care what people do with their stuff. I was just giving my honest opinion on something that was up forsale and in my opinion was a waste of a truck especially one I'm kinda fond of. Now if I was into sled pulling or drag racing maybe my opinion would be alil different 🤔. But I neither have the time or money for such hobbies lol.
  5. Also I didn't see it up forsale before it got hacked into a Ratrod. To each there own.
  6. I don't think 2 strokes are the second coming. But I grew up hearing about the 318 or 8v71 from Grandpa as he drove a GMC cabover with one in it for Schwerman trucking back when they had a terminal here in Lima,Ohio. I'm kinda fond of them and do like the way they sound that and the old Cummins as well.
  7. Last week the guy I pay to mow my grass mowed for the first time this year already.
  8. Well that's how it works when you git blessed with a Show Dog Company truck lol. Maybe one of these days I will have my own but for now I'm satisfied with my company truck.
  9. This year I will be Entering The Green Hornet in the Annual Memorial Day Parade in Lafayette, Ohio. This will be the first time I will hopefully be Adding a Name Plate on the front of the Truck in Memory of my Grandparents. It will say The Green Hornet in yellow and have a picture of my Grandfather with his Brockway at one end and my grandmother with the truck at the other. I know this may come across as Selfish but if anyone on here can perhaps Come and Show us Support I would like to extend the invitation. It would mean alot to me. Maybe make signs to hold up etc then maybe meet up afterwards. My Grandfather also Served in The United States Marines during the Korean War and was in Korea for 2 tours.
  10. I couldn't remember exactly who built it I remember my Grandpa and his Best Friend Opry singer Charlie Louvin talking about it.
  11. Our weather for this time of year is actually back on track here in Ohio. Take that Greta lol.
  12. Supposed to be in the 70's later this week here in Ohio
  13. Actually a guy just built the car and gave it to Johnny as a gift. Johnny and all involved had no idea he was building it.
  14. Yes the car was actually built for Johnny after the song came out. It's in a museum somewhere.
  15. That look on his face in that 2nd picture is priceless. Could be a Meme with the caption " Buddy we've worked really hard restoring this truck!!! Don't you dare pull out in front of me with your Prius!!!!"
  16. Happy Birthday Vlad have a Just Ducky Day QUACK QUACK
  17. Happy Birthday OD hope your day was Just Ducky!! QUACK QUACK
  18. Nice I love them old Trucks like that. It was hard to tell the year especially with the square headlights. Towards the end of 78 they started changing to the squares instead of the rounds. Also the 78 year trucks tended to not rust out as fast or as bad as the 79s. Lol
  19. I like the Ford pickup in the background as well. Is that a 79 f150?
  20. Yes Sir that's how I was able to get my CDL. I went to a Vocational trade school here in Ohio my Junior and senior year of school. Instead of paying almost 6,000 dollars to go to their Driving School I only had to pay about 95 bucks for a Drug test to be able to use the school's truck and also paid for my test. I had to take er twice and the school paid for the first test. I took Construction Equipment Operations and learned how to efficiently run alot of equipment and Drive truck. Wouldn't change it for Nothing. Infact sometimes I wish I could go back to them days lol.
  21. I'd go with the dual set upwards.
  22. I have a radar when it comes to Cabovers!! I see them then have to clean my slobber of my steering wheel
  23. I love that International Cabover as well!!
  24. That'd be a nice candidate for a Sleeper Rig.
