  1. SSSSH! Vinny hasn't seen it yet......
  2. Not me.... It's in the front window, only employees are able to get there.........
  3. This has been the family farm truck since it was new. I renewed the long expired FARM plates to use it to use it to bring home the combine I'm getting the permits to recover (removal of 25 trees and intermitent lane closings of road shoulder) . Here is a cel pic of it hooked to my token trailer. As a Farm truck, I'm required to pass the N.Y. safety inspection but am DOT exempt. I'm allowed to operate in a 25 mile radius of the farm and "carry equipment, feed, animals and go the church with it". Paul
  4. After my trip to DMV to tag up my 59 I.H., I went to the store next door to look for a few magazines. I saw some interesting book titles and the Barry wall of books. Paul
  5. I run all older trucks and equipment. The newest Mack is an '80 the oldest is a '69, my road truck is a Marmon. They all are maintained as close to new as possible. No leaks, no missing or damaged parts, good rubber and glass and are all kept shiny and clean. That said, I'm now losing jobs because of their ages and it is now a battle to keep them insured because of their age. My slant, want an old looking unit, put an old body on a new chassis. Just my opinion. Paul
  6. Those are the stock wheels, they ran them till the mid 40's. Spokes were on the heavier chassis' The rear brace is a torque rod which helps keep the pinion angle close to the same, loaded or un loaded. Most of the ultra heavy All Wheel drive units run them on the front axle from the spring pads to the front spring mounts. Paul
  7. R 410....413 Chrysler V8 But it does make sense..Civil Defense and US military in the 50's early 60's used the 354 industrial Chrysler for air raid siren generator power plants and such.
  8. I don't recall seeing a G at the auction. Might have been sold before the auction. Paul
  9. Don't forget the miles driven tax..........................................................................................

My pop was it the 3rd Division 7th infantry, five invasions; Tunisia, Sicily, Anzio, Rome and Southern France and ended in Burges Garten in the Baverian Alps. He never talked to me about it until I can home from Viet Nam with my CIB. One can only hope we end up with a president with American Ideals and BALLS before it is too late. Paul
  11. NY DMV issued me a token trailer "lifetime " plate for Farm and Forestry units. The renewal is $15.00 a year and no date sticker issued, it's on the DMV receipt. The unit pulling it must have a cargo capacity of greater then 1 ton and the trailer must have a GVW of more than 6000 lbs. Paul
  12. But thats the rarely seen Blizzard option, to find the door in a white out. Looks nice though. Paul
  13. The I.H. 4070 he's got listed is pretty nice. So is the Superliner and the Mack C (?) in the back ground of the I.H. pics.
  14. Now if my family wouldn't flip out, I'd replace the Catapillar mail box holder in my avatar with it. Have no idea what the power plant is. Hercules or Ford flathead 6 I was told. Got to cut trees down from it, battle spiders and I'm sure there are some other critters in there waiting for me. And the plus side is I got all the forms filled out to renew my N.Y. Farm Plates for my farms original '59 R.200 binder....Which towing my non token trailer to move the combine, is exempt for DOT regs as long as it transporting farm related equipment with in a 25 mile range of the farm. Tee Hee Hee NON DOT Compliant! Paul
  15. AAAH! Roots and leeches............Obama care at it's best!! Paul
  16. Red Wings, Phallic symbols, snakes putting pants on...............NOW you want us to look under the tongue??? I gotta go back out.........

Reagan, we need another! Barry mentioned in his California campaign speech yesterday that his uncle was the first U.S. soldier on SWORD BEACH . I guess nobody told him that it was after the invasion and it was a British Landing Zone I guess...What a poor example of a leader.
  18. Red Wings, Phalic symbols, snakes putting pants on...............I gotta go home now...........
  19. The looks cared for. I always on anything with a winch, look to see how the cable is spooled up. Spooled up with out twists and loose shows me the owner takes care of what makes money. I ordered four 8.00 x 40 and two 6.75 x 38 for my AC and went numb for the cost, equal to the 10 Michelins I put on my Marmon!
  20. That question i would ask NJDMV and NJ DOT, and print the answer to take with you. The enforcement seems to change from state to state and even county to county. Paul
  21. I'll stick it on my farm til I decide, one thing I won't do is scrap it.. Its a Massey Harris model 21and dates from around 1940/ 41 its been sitting since about 1962. Sits on the last 3 acres left of a 2400 acre corn and potato farm. Paul
