You can park on a clean floor. mark the tire and the floor at 6 O'Clock. roll the tire until the mark hits 6 O'Clock again. mark the floor, measure the distance between the marks and divide it into 5280... thats your revs.. jojo

ok.. only reason i posted is because I have done many Mack rears and 4.17: 1 and 4.42:1,,, were the most common by far... Someone who knows more than me will post for you..jojo

Ok. real quick... Lots to absorb here.... If you have a bad carrier (4:42) Then change both to (4:17), and reset the dipswitches on the speedo. I have the chart on this if you need info. basically, Final drive ratio hopefully OD .76:1 ish... 16 teeth on the output tone wheel, then 4.17: rears, and tire revs/mile. do you know how to do it the old timey way? I can show you the chart... by the way. I bet that truck can pull anything the way it's set now?? Jojo

It just keeps going.... We have over 1 Million homeless people on the streets. We don't know why or what got them there. A good bit of them are Veterans, and yet.. there they are, while we give free room and board and medical care to people that enter our country illegally.. can someone teach me why I am wrong and shouldn't be pissed off about this? jojo

Hey guys, I'm working on a 1988 RW-613 with budd wheels. My customer wants hub piloted steer axle hubs. I either need to buy a pair or get the last "6" of a vin that had these hubs, so I can get a part number.. Thank you, Joey Mack

All you need is a tape measure and a box cutter, a roll of hose, and these fittings, and you can make lines for days.... Jojo

The I.D. of those hoses is 3/8".. that is plenty... There are D.O.T. grade fittings that you build in your hand, they even come with the 5/16" allen wrench to build them. you buy a length of D.O.T. hose and cut it to what you need, screw these fittings in the end and your done... I will look for the name of them.. I have used dozens of these but cant remember the name... Crazy...

Hello Ben.. I don't recall.. Are you at a Mack Dealership? If so.. You can search the answers in Pro-path, watch the tutorials, and take the tests. You can look back on the classes as needed... NOW.. I've been out of the dealership almost 2 years now, so I do not know of any changes in the education. By no means am I saying you wont get help here, but as you complete pro path, you work your way towards a raise and eligabilty for schools, once classrooms are back in session, that is.. Keep pluggin away at it. jojo -
its possible that there isn't a dryer. I would expect this year model to have one, It could have been removed by the previous owner, who knows.. judging by the brake chamber picture, i'm guessing "Pre-trip" was not part of the previous owners day. and maintainance,,, well????.. All of us will help him get his truck fixed up.

I just replaced one on an ASET, it supplied air to the VGT system. I also replaced the bad air filter on that system. the air leak was fixed and the VGT, worked again.. This may not apply, but...... jojo
