  1. sb635008.fm.pdf here is the Svc. Bulletin..
  2. do you hear clicking noises? it is a series of plastic gear teeth. Im sure you assumed that.. there is a svc. bulletin on it. I beleive it came out around 2003.. i think we replaced the whole mode box under warranty. I will try to find the bulletin. jojo
  3. Ohh... I thought I saw 2 restored Double 'D' models.. I need to look a little closer...
  4. Heres the book.... Pull the cup holders to get to the front cover torx screws, then remove the front cover, there are screws down each side as well.. check to see if the metal control rod has popped out of the plastic clip for the flaps.. if the clip is broken, you can get one from Oreillys in the Dorman section. It will be a multi pack.. -OR- Suck down the A/C,,, pinch the heater lines on the fire wall and remove them from the nipples,,,,,, pull the cup holder off then you will see the hidden torx screws in the front, there are screws down the sides also,,,,, unplug the main plug above the throttle pedal, the wires go behind the HVAC unit. with the front cover off you can see how it runs,,,,, then pull the floor pan and the shifter if you want to... (much more room to work) once you unbolt the HVAC unit from the fire wall the unit tips out, pull from the bottom and rotate upward,,,, then you can service the unit on the bench... Make sure you stock up on patience.. jojo
  5. yes sir.. I beleive you can buy it as an assembly, ( fan motor and mounting plate) and just slide the old on out, and the new one back in, and replace credit card too, just to insure good performance.. am I forgetting something FJH??
  6. Vlad, I am curious about this idea you have. I have only ever re-built them to original specs..
  7. You are a lucky DOG.. glad you had a good day.. Happy Birthday 🎂
  8. Well thats what you get for being a slacker...
  9. Well, Hello there stranger !!! You may have to look back at some threads... Theres been some guys in need of your brain.. Jojo
  10. I remember using a photo tach and reflective tape to check RPMs.. I wish I was smart enough to paint the fan blades.. I have shaved many knuckles on my hands, but the ones on my head are perfect..
  11. Bingo.. I knew I was forgetting something... Thanks, FJH
  12. The 1 1/4" inch cut wrench was for Ambach pumps if I remember right.. anyway,. I posted the pages for a 350 E-7.. hopefully it helps.. I don't have enough skill to do more than that through text messages..
  13. Mech.. there are many settings.. I don't know all of them.. the 5 degrees was a vague memory of setting timing on. Robert Bosch pump.. I do NOT know how to flow time.. I happen to own a timing tool for R.B. pumps,. It helps me get it right..
  14. I bet the crack was on the right side......
  15. Any time Bud.. I would look at the plug above the throttle first.. It is easy to fix with whats in your tool box and on your shelf.. Yes, the fan switch and its plug can melt from high amp draw, I just dont want you to replace a good switch, if the harness plug is melted.. you can follow the wires from the top of the side cover on the HVAC unit. above the throttle, it comes right over the top .. Keep in touch... Jojo
  16. Paul..... the democrats and progressives are destroying our country, and saying they will do it.. and they are.. It is crazy.. what a set of balls they have.. and our tax returns were reduced this year as well, or so I have seen reports... all the money is being given to freaks and race baiters, and anyone who is not a white man.. Its a damn mess..
  17. I did have the '95 book... I hope this helps you.
  18. ok.. I have a '94 book.. i can take a look..
  19. I'm lost on most Mack's, or should I say Volvos, after around 2009.. but his set up is what used to work on quite a bit.. I'm getting rusty though..
  20. Sad but true, Mean Green...
  21. Mech. I believe you are right.. I'm sure she will Suck this case Dry of all the money she can get.. Lets not forget, that, every woman is Sittin' on a Gold Mine'... just sayin'..
  22. there is a replaceble switch.. You have to pull the control panel out , then you will see that the speed switch is replaceable.. I have also found a burnt power wire at the plug for the HVAC system.. It is right above the throttle pedal, I think its 5 wires and they are heavy gauge, like a 12g. orange/red/black/green and yellow if I remember right. anyway,, I check there first because I have bought a switch before only to find this issue.. The last one I fixed 2 months ago, i was able to re-use the plug, but had to overlay the power wire. I used a bullet plug so it can be removed without cutting it.. the wire harness' were too expensive and my customer let me do my own thing.. He needed the truck Monday morning.. (weekend job) .. good luck Mackey..
  23. AMEN !!!!!
  24. Electric pump.. ok.. unplug the Duetch plug and check the terminals..sometimes they loosen up and slide back into the socket and break connection.. also, make sure it is secured to the yoke that should be bolted to the gov. Housing area.. if it is loose, it will disconnect over time.
