  1. Carl you are really doing it right, can't wait to see it in Pa. my next project is the return of my fire company's 34 Seagrave ,which has been gone for 42 years, it's in pieces but all their.we hope to get it back home in early spring and start the plan.

  3. I will look into farther and post results, would you replace or rebuild the tredel ,looks like an awarkward position to work on.
  4. I have what sounds like air leak at air brake pedal on a '71 CF Mack is it normal?
  5. All 5 of the apparatus in my dept.have built in compressors on them that we keep plugged in to a land line for air and battery. And my 54 L Ikeep it connected to a Battery Tender (2 plugs wired in to the system)
  6. nice truck ,that Hall-Scott is a massive engine the hood is about 12" longer than a regular 'B'.

  8. someone keeps telling me that the F and R models the cabs are idenitical, I think the R is narrower.

  13. come on, don't compare a Ford or Chevy to the big manufactures ,just start with the frame rails and drive train etc.etc. , fords and chevys o.k. for the very rural depts.

Carl here it is ,located the 34 seagrave that was orginal to my fire co, the guy has had it for 41 yrs. ....yes that's fourty-one years. he has done some work on it ,the Hercules not running ,said repairable front fenders ,cowl,hood is their and refinished ,he said all the parts are their.moving south in 2years and doesn't want to take it,has a 36 putting back together that's going, so when someone took something apart the you try to get the sequence to get it right.

  23. you must be close to finishing the mack, I assume the 125 has the Hall-Scott engine, I really don't know about the tire size.
  24. found out yesterday the Weston VT. R sold for $8000. the guy is going to make a dump truck out of it ,what a CRIME
