    I've never seen a "64 U either,i was always told "65 was the first year for the new cabs.This was even by an old time worker at the plant tour i took many years ago.

    Now i need to find a good aluminum cleaner for the radiator,and to strip the paint off the tanks...

    Some cheap dollar store spray cleaner and rags...Still gonna throw a coat of wax on.It'll be a while before i can paint her,so i need to prserve it the best i can for now.

    I hear that one is pretty rusty,and he won't budge on 5K!What a shame...Here's a Polaroid i took of my truck back in "95,it was the first time i talked to the owner after seeing it for many years.This was at a job site not far from my house.

    Finally brought my B-75 home a few days ago.The whole truck was covered in a moldy film from being off the road the past few years.The paint is tired,but it did clean up well and has a nice patina for now!Also had the bottom drivers seat refinished as it was torn up the middle.Next will be new batteries and replace a few bulbs that are out.

    Anyone know what all the numbers mean in the stampings?

    Heres a pic of the stamping,cleaned it off better.Would it have 4:33's or 5:74's?

    My B75 has a 673,quad with main direct in 4th.Tires are 11R24.5's,rear is stamped 5.74.Any ideas what the speed will be at 2100?

    Any idea on the value of a B model parts manual?Was told it's original Mack,over 3 inches thick and in good shape.Common,hard to find???

    TWO people i know passed away last week in separate accidents.One was hit head on and died instantly last Wednesday.The other was a treeworker and was crushed to death by a tree last Thursday.Live every day like it's your last,never know when it will be...
