  1. I have an original 1960 B75,s/a tractor. Most 75's i've seen over the years have been tandems.Any way to find out how many were made of each?
  2. Nice little truck, came out of CT.Happy to see it found a home, have fun with it!
  3. I've had this radio for years,it was in my old DM.It worked when i pulled it out,but needs a speaker.I was thinking about selling it.Any idea what to ask?
  4. The truck will need new rubber to go on the road, also was wondering about the weight difference between the two?
  5. Would it be worth going to tubeless on a hobby/lite work 10 wheeler?
  6. Great info!Any word on how the B-81's doing these days???I'd love to see a recent pic!
  7. Thanks,i know that.I was just wondering how many of the 1619 that were produced are single axles? Also, what was the purpose of the "long" nose?I'm aware the B-67 "short" nose style trucks were made for overall length laws.
  8. I know the total # of B-75's made.Is there a way to find out how many were single axles?I've only seen a few,as most seemed to be tandems.Just curious, thanks.
  9. A friend is considering buying one.The truck is SUPER clean and would be an easy resto. It's been stored inside for many years and is all there, needing NO major bodywork. You could take it apart, paint it and put it back together. It has a flatbed, not a pickup bed.Any idea's what an original unmolested truck like this would be worth???Also, what would a correctly restored example go for? Thanks for any help.
  10. Why do some B-73's and 75's have L and some have B cab's?
  11. What are the different types of paint that mack sells? What are the pro's/cons of each?I want to paint my B-75 cab and nose(mack green),how much paint should i buy? Thanks
  12. Did they all have low air buzzers or a flag?My "64 doesn't have a flag or working buzzer.Where they maditory by then???Where would the buzzer be located? Thanks
  13. I measured from about 1.5/2in.'s back from the cab,i have about 8.5ft of frame.Would it be safe to weld on 6-8in.'s of frame and NOT move the rear end back? Also, would 2 inches from the cab be to close for a dump body? Thanks
  14. There's about 5ft(maybe a little more) of useable frame to the center of the axle.
  15. This sucks. This is a real clean truck. Most old trucks(newer ones too!) are rusted to hell from the salt around here.Maybe i can find someone to trade this truck for another one???
  16. This is turning into a pain in the rear!I had a nice 9ft body lined up for the truck, and thought it'd be a simple bolt on setup.
  17. This truck is VERY short, under 16ft long. The engine is partly in the cab, with a small doghouse.I don't have the time, money or garage to lengthen the frame in the mid. section as of now.All the ones i've seen or owned have been 9 or 10ft long,i was shocked when i measured it!
  18. I'm very happy with B-67 i just picked up so far.I bought it with the intensions of making a dump truck out of it(that i need). The major problem is,there's only 8ft of useable frame behind the cab!If i weld on 1ft on the rear of the frame, and don't move the rear back would that be a bad idea???I know it would look weird.Would i be better getting a longer truck???I'm not sure what to do.Any help would be great.
  19. I'm sorry if i've offended anyone on here, even Rob.But he does not know me and should not have made those "wrong" assumptions about me.
