  1. Definitely the oil cooler circled.
  2. 335 didn't have an intercooler. I'd imagine guys may have added them trying to make it a 350, but 335s didn't come with one.
  3. 3.70/5.04 and a direct 5 speed.
  4. And yes, they were an attempt to be more like a Mack ( the PT 270 ) they were set up with some form of 5 speed in trucks besides the Huskiedive setup in the Brockways
  5. PT 270 was a power torque 270. Not to be confused with the "PT" cast in the fuel pump which was for " pressure time " He's got some form of a Small Cam. With a turbo ??? could be a 270, 290 or a 335. Without a CPL , it's hard to guess. 350 had an intercooler as did a 400 Magnum. Judging by the rest of the changes to the truck, who knows what someone may have done to that engine, as guys mixed and matched those quite frequently. Pretty cool truck, no matter though.
  6. Why thank you. You're gonna make me blush.
  7. I was think'n that, but I'm maxed out on piss'n guys off for a while 😇

Maybe she worked something out to keep diddy quiet a little longer in exchange for an award. Isn't her husband or whatever in on the diddy thing ?
  9. That's a 7000. The 5000 was a whole different animal.
  10. They looked more European than American at that time.
  11. I was talking about a White 5000. Google one, they were odd to say the least. Only made a short time and rarely seen in this day and age. I'd send a picture , but I'm not sure how that posting pictures that aren't your own goes.
  12. French
  13. If I read it right those two lead engineers were palzy walzys
  14. One of them ke[t on going with it.
  15. Mack and Scania used to compare notes over the years in the past. Trade off info here and there. Like the direct injection Diesel. Then there was this other little engine that was 998 cubic inches.......
  16. I like what was PPE back then .
  17. Could you picture add'n a hood to one of those
  18. Complete with daylight doors and all.
  19. International tried something like that with the Emeryville back in the '60s too.
  20. Hey.....it takes a confident woman to sport that bald look. That last one....never saw her before. Thanks for that OD 😂
  21. I think someone in New Jersey just got one for pulling a lowboy.
  22. Depending where they were coming from ???? I'm guess'n around four hours at least. There wasn't many of those guys spoke English A new Knee for Xmas ? Hope everything goes ok with that.
  23. At one point those trucks didn't stop. IDK if it was all one driver or what. That place in the picture was quite the place too ( one of my trucks was on the 6 o'clock news there in the begining ) (lol) Then when they started bringing in the dirt, it was pretty much what's in the pictures more than a couple times. If I remember right, one ran into a school bus in NJ. It was a T800 and the engine was out of it and it still weighed 94000 pounds. It was quite the three ring circus.
  24. That's close to 800 reasons to like them. Time was there was a connection between Scania and Mack. and some of Mack's best stuff was developed from that relationship.
  25. Hard tell'n what went on with that stretch job
