It means someone is about to spend a lot of money. 💸
  2. Ya know??? I almost get the impression you're not real fond of dropped visors 😂 . I think now they actually come with a spot etched and powder coated with a pride flag on the ends
  3. Sorta resembles Paul's in ways.
  4. Depends where you go, and what you're looking for. Anywhere between $250.00 and $300.00 a ton (or close to that)
  5. Couple of us are still haul'n coal. (n I can tell ya it wasn't a lotta fun Friday)
  6. Thanks for sharing. That's quite a truck .
  7. Sheesh.....it was right around the 243 or so. I had no clue. Small world.
  8. HEY !!! I saw you going West on 80. I wondered what a big New York spec was doing in Pennsy;vania. Never would have guessed it'd be you.
  9. I see two ducts on the air cleaner. One is for the turbo and the other is for a tip fan. There's nothing on the shifter ( like a range valve ) . In my opinion it would suggest it's a 300 Maxidyne. 300 Plus or 350 would be an Econodyne with a transmission with more speeds than 5. That's my guess from what I see in the picture (s) .
  10. That's a Small Cam of some form. PT270, 290 or 335 ? Hard to tell much more ( at least for me ) no intercooler, so it's not a 350 or 400 Magnum
  11. They're gonna be heavier than I thought. They look pretty good though.
  12. Joy is sport'n a lovely Moe Howard hairdoo in that picture. All she needs is two more stodges to hang out with.
  13. Landing. They're all pretty nice for trucks that work every day. Especially since there's like 40 of them.
  14. Look, I see it says "puppy poster" so I won't be able to say you know how this works....... but we're gonna need pictures. (my guess, the Mack might be in the low 20000 lbs range and the 923 ? mid teens ? just a guess)
  15. Seeing that picture of the Pierce puts it into perspective why some used to refer to the LTL as the Duesenberg of diesels. What classy looking cars all those types were.
  16. It's funny cause it's probably not too far off from the truth.
  17. I don't doubt the paving company has extremely nice equipment. Just when you mentioned New Jersey and trucks kept looking good, CRA immediately came to mind.
  18. New Jersey, clean trucks. CRA. Sorta hard to see a dirty one.
  19. We're gonna need a picture from behind the cab looking forward ( in under the cab ) put this engine mystery to rest 😏
  20. CRA
  21. Just letting you know in general where it is. Friend of mine saw it in person. He claims it's in pretty good shape and really can be enjoyed "as is" , he felt it's a fair price for it. Not gonna get many more chances to get something so close to the original Green Hornet.
  22. Said it was made to be a michigan special. Back then one of those with a couple Fruehauf dump trailers behind them was a common sight, and quite inpressive at that.
  23. I bet all of us are feeling a little bit better about Volvo at least.
