  1. ok I'm this far now so how do I turn a little fuel to it? nothing to crazy just a little black smoke. Thanks.
  2. Only pedal is the clutch. It's not to far of a reach. I'm not giving my kids any teamwork ideas they come up with enough on there own. Some of the interior doors in our house have the locks that you push the wire key in the center to unlock. One day we found they both made there own keys out of paper clips because they couldn't reach the keys we kept above the doors.
  3. I don't know the model but its a hydraulic drive case from the mid 60's. He brought that home at the same time. The motor runs a hydraulic pump the is connected with 2 hoses to the rear which has high and low. It's been repainted at some time but seems to be in really good shape.
  4. When you sit in it it's kinda like a cockpit. If it rolls your stuck.
  5. I think i remember reading once it was an electric pump that controlled the dump. I'm 6'2" and 215 pounds. It's let's just say a little snug in my b67 contour cab. If your a smaller guy it would prob be fine but if your at all bigger I'd stay away from this setup cab.
  6. My dad brought a neat toy home Saturday night. My kids still have a week of school yet (due to teacher strike) which is prob a good thing. They are both very eager to go try it. A 6&8 yr. old my be a little dangerous on this thing.
  7. are these it? I know the black knob opens the exterior vent. What is the green upper knob do? Also right in front of the fancy air freshener there is a round lever that appears to turn? Neither appear to do anything currently. The fan motor is buried under the dash in front and above this. I don't think there are any controls on the dash. Thanks
  8. Mud boggin in the Mack and your lady models. Sounds like a perfect photo shoot.
  9. In my poor interior picture what are the 2 trolley valves, and how does the transmission controller work? It kinda reminds me of boat controls. Barnhart crane & rigging is the name in the door now.
  10. Truck is currently getting dressed in its work gear. It has 2 20,000 concrete counter weights stacked on the frame rails. It has a inline cummins in it. It looks bigger then the 855's I'm used to see so I'm guessing its a KT. an automatic? just a shot to show how big it really is. That's my 4dr cavalier work car. It just hit 200,000 when I pulled into lot to take a few pics this morning.
  11. Drove by today and its unloaded from the detach and loaded with concrete counter weights. Hopefully I get to make a porn video of it in action.
  12. Got the stacks and tank mounted. They will be 3' taller when outside. Need a piece of flex pipe then toolbox step can get put on. Battery box with disconnect switch mounted on the inside. "Kinda a security thing." Alternator mounted. Used a belt adjuster off a 3208 cat. Basically perfect fit. Just had to cut 1" off end and drill a new hole.
  13. My neighbor has a wood grain steering wheel out of a Pete in his B model. Kinda seem maybe just a standard mount?
  14. I'm only about 2 hrs from macungie about 40 miles north of Harrisburg. It's at a private rail yard so it's possible it's coming or going by rail. Also they are retrofitting a local coal fired power plant to gas. There's a bunch of big cranes set up there and I heard there some large oversized loads coming by train for that project. The truck has a crane and rigging company on the door.
  15. Not mine, but I wish it was. I know nothing about it other then it's old, it's red, it's big and its a Mack. It's currently parked in a wide spot 7 miles from my house in central Pa.
  16. Seams like the new rearend ratio worked out pretty well. Good idea for the motorhome on the fly option.
  17. My high horsepower 673 was eating away at the motor mount bolts. I didn't realize it was such a torque monster.
  18. What tags do you have with a yearly inspection classic? Nice video.
  19. Thanks. My b67 starts widening at the back of the cab.
  20. I don't know any of this to be correct it just from reading so I could easily be confused. Didn't the western trucks have straight frame rails, where the eastern ones had rails that flared out in the front? Would there be different tank brackets to compensate for the flare of the frame so the tanks would be straight?
  21. Rubber portion got inside of mount like a backwards v-belt. It went together very easy. Then got front seal in and installed hub pulley and balancer. No working on mounting alternator.
  22. Thanks. That's what I was planning. How tight of a fit is the mount going to be? What hold the rubber in place?
  23. I got my front seal and rubber front motor mount from Watt's. any tips or tricks in installing the rubber in the front motor mount on my b67? Is it going to be easier to unbolt the mount from crossmember and install the rubber in that first? Then the entire mount onto the motor.
  24. That's much neater looking. That looks like a single intake manifold. Is that a turbo engine setup? Mine had 2 manifolds.
  25. If you would like to trade for a couple month I may be interested. I'm keeping the kids and the dog though.
