    don` t knock wire nuts until you try em they last a hell of a lot longer than the junk butt connectors available and they are ul approved

    that is a pull type clutch . the trans has the proper front bearing retainer plate.

    Right on about getting back in the states. Pay nothing to get into Canada, and have to pay US customs at that time $5.00 first thing as you entered the customs compound, basically a toll booth.
